Unknown Account Name

Hello,

To date, I still am unclear as to what my WoW Classic account name is. I have created a Blizzard account prior to subscribing to WoW Classic, and can only seem to login to the game through the Blizzard launcher.

I have read several posts that suggest the game account name is listed under “Game Accounts” in the Blizzard account page; however, mine simply states “World of Warcraft®: Legion (WoW1) Americas & Oceania”. I tried using “WoW1” as the account username on the WoW Classic login page, along with my Blizzard account password, but it does not recognize the account.

Currently, my only means of playing the game is to login through the Blizzard launcher. Please advise on how I can login directly through the WoW Classic launcher.

The desktop launcher is exactly how you should be logging in. That way the game updates properly etc.

Your account name is the same as the one you use to log into the launcher and should be the email address you chose along with your password.

There is no separate Classic Launcher. You select the game version you want to play from the drop down list. All that is required to play Classic is to have game time on a WoW license.
