Unite for Glory! Answer the Call of Naxxramas and Forge Your Legacy on Grobbulus!

You approach the bustling heart of the Stonefire Tavern in Ironforge, eyes greeted by the warm glow of lantern light and the hearty laughter of Dwarves, Humans, and Gnomes alike. The air is thick with the scent of hearty stew and the comforting aroma of freshly brewed ale.

Amidst the joyful clinking of tankards and the merry strumming of a bard’s lute, your gaze is drawn to a note affixed to the tavern’s stone wall, its edges slightly crinkled from eager hands. The parchment bears the words of Jarl Lightbeard, written with the passion of a priest and the longing for comrades in arms.

Around the note, fellow patrons gather, some nodding in approval, others whispering excitedly to their companions. A Dwarf with a twinkle in his eye raises his mug high, proclaiming, “Aye, that Legacy be a sturdy bunch, that they are! Tackle Naxxramas with 'em? Now that’s an adventure fit for a true hero!”

And as you read the note, you feel a spark of excitement deep within, an ember of possibility that grows with every line. The air is charged with a sense of purpose, of camaraderie, as if the tavern itself echoes the call to arms.

And so, in the heart of the Stonefire Tavern, under the watchful eyes of ancestral murals and the warmth of the hearth, a choice is made. The traveler’s destiny intertwines with the promise of glory and the bonds of Legacy. And as you step back, your heart filled with newfound resolve, you know that Grobbulus awaits, and a new chapter of your journey is about to unfold.

Hear ye, hear ye, brave souls of Azeroth!

Listen up, for I, Jarl Lightbeard, call upon thee to answer a call that echoes through the annals of history! Legacy, the mightiest raiding guild, is seekin’ stout-hearted adventurers to march alongside us on the path to glory and victory!

Picture this: Mondays and Fridays, 7pm to 10pm Pacific Time, Grobbulus server. A realm where the challenge is as fierce as the camaraderie is strong. A realm where only Legacy stands as the lone guild, the beacon of hope in a land where darkness looms.

We’re a guild that stands not in the shadow of giants, but strides forward as giants ourselves. With might and will, we’ve conquered Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, and Ahn’Qiraj, proving that in unity, we find strength. Now, the final battleground awaits: Naxxramas. We’ve already felled five mighty bosses, leaving only a few to claim victory.

Grobbulus, a realm of opportunity, where a small player base means a close-knit community that thrives on unity. We don’t just stand together, we rely on one another to face the challenges ahead. It’s not just about slaying bosses, it’s about forging bonds that last a lifetime.

So, leave behind the familiar lands of Whitemane and embark on a journey to a realm where Legacy reigns supreme. For those who dare to answer the call, the rewards are beyond measure. Power, glory, and a legacy that will be sung of in taverns for generations to come.

Join us, become a part of history, and help us achieve what none thought possible. Let us carve our names in the hallowed halls of Naxxramas. The adventure of a lifetime awaits, and Grobbulus beckons you to leave behind the old and embrace the new!

For the Alliance, for Legacy!

Yours in Battle,

Jarl Lightbeard

I hope you get around to writing and sharing it!! It’s a beautiful world to make believe in

I joined this disc and it didn’t seem very Era-y

I do think the only “Fresh” we’ll get is if we can get people to roll Grob fresh though.

To be clear, it’s not an attempt at fresh. We’re a group of Era players who were around on Grobb from Day 1, many of which haven’t stopped playing Era since TBC pre patch. We stayed on Era and have been playing here since. Raiding MC/BWL/AW40/Naxx world bosses, and other instances, leveling alts, etc

Not sure how much more era it could be  was there something else you were expecting?? Sorry it missed the mark for you!

A realm where you’ll never find the dance floor empty?

Grobbulus is the unrealized great-next-hope for Fresh-before-Fresh, but it takes a massive social movemaker to get people excited for these things.

I hate to say it, but unless someone with massive social sway (like a … streamer) decides to promote the idea of a Grob fresh revival, it’s just not going to happen.

It’s very difficult to get things to go viral, and even more so if you’re a nobody in the community like me or Joe Schmoe or Jane Doe.

If I saw a guild of 50 or more people committed to a start date for Grobbulus fresh, I’d go.

If I had money, I’d offer it to the authors of the hardcore addon to create a fresh gatekeeping addon, but I’m broke.

I was thinking about giving this low pop RP-PVP server a shot. Problem will be for new players getting pre raid geared up. Like you literally depend on generosity of a handful of people or else your stuck with quest greens at 60.

This is good that it won’t happen, and tbh we prefer it this way! It would be like trying to move a huge city into a small rural farm town.

I welcome all new comers, but I sure hope we don’t turn into a mega server ever. Legacy is, and has been, thriving as a micro server and that’s part of the appeal  we enjoy being unclustered, and we enjoy the slower paced, community focused guild and server culture we’ve created. I can’t stress enough… the low pop is a blessing, and I pray we don’t see the day it turns viral. That said, wouldn’t mind a couple more people in Legacy, and even a rival ally guild one day. Just praying that Grobb doesn’t lose its current charm and go viral mega server.

To each their own though! Mega servers surely exist for those who prefer mega population.

We are happy to help you out. No issues with gear when you come over, show up for raid we will we get you into some fine clothes (I have some Dwarven Mild and Mead for you but that’s another story) Legacy is that “handful of people” who will help you out through dungeons and raids alike.
