What does it mean by uninstalling addon managers? I am trying to reset my UI but I’m not sure exactly what this means. Like do I have to go and delete all my addons or what?
Do you use twitch to update your addons? I know there are several other pieces of software that update addons.
As for resetting the UI, just rename the folders to something else like WTF_Old, Cache_Old, and Interface_Old. Then relaunch wow, it will redo the UI with new folders. Addon managers sometime will re-populate the addons unless you turn them off.

An addon manager will automatically update most, if not all, your addons.
And yes, you need to uninstall it if you use one.

Curse is the one I’m most familiar with. If you downloaded the curse app, it could help you keep your addons updated automatically - versus having to go look for each one.
If you manually install your addons, this isn’t a concern. However, if you have any sort of application that updates them for you, that needs to be uninstalled or at least turned off temporarily.
