Disclaimer: Rating is sh*t, looking for tips on how to get better (trying to get into the 1800 rating bracket)
I’m running a DK/Hpal combo and can’t get into the 1800s. I have a couple questions if you could help me out…
- When we play a healer/DPS combo who should we target as main DPS?
- How do you Combat LOS as a DK
- What do you think the appropriate healer/DPS split should be
We run a DK/Hpal comp and we’re just looking for tips, Destro locks, DHs, and fire mages destroy us

who you target is going to depend game to game, based on the specs you’re fighting as well as what corruptions they are running. A rogue stacking gushing will take way more damage than one stacking vers. The only thing that’s pretty scripted is if you’re facing a disc priest you can tunnel him all game.
always keep chains of ice on a dps tunneling your healer
Generally if you’re facing a caster dps he will be your main target especially while you’re learning so you don’t have to /focuskick or /arena123 kick as much. Also you can focus on his casts more and react accordingly with your defensives.
Against casters keep in mind you have 4 ways to interrupt casts with mindfreeze, petkick, grip, and stun.
I’m not sure what you mean by “combat los”
You hit caster dps as a priority
If no caster, a lot of times you can tunnel heals while maintaining chains/gripping the dps off your heals
you can get any CD in the game while your unholy frenzy/Abom/apoc is up and your pally HoJ’s the healer. This is your huge win condition. If the pally dps’s with you it should be an easy push doing that consistently.
