Mini map shows “Unguarded Gorm Eggs” but when I visit the location, the eggs aren’t clickable.

I’m having the same issue.
Edit: Right after I posted this, the rare spawned. I didn’t get to activate the eggs. The rare just randomly spawned.

I was able to click all the eggs… something kept on starting to spawn, but only normal mobs ever spawned.
After I had clicked all the eggs, the place went very silent, however the rare star on my mini map yet remains.

Same here. See the star, but none of the eggs are clickable. I remember doing this back on alpha and it worked then.

Just chiming in that I’m seeing the same issue.

I clicked all the eggs. The angry egg keepers spawned and I killed them. Then nothing happened. Another player was present so perhaps they had a roll in bugging the event? I’m now camped next to my cooking fire, waiting to see if someone else manages to spawn the rare.
EDIT: I had barely posted this when the eggs respawned. Let’s see what happens.
EDIT 2: I was alone this time. Clicked all the eggs. Same happened. I did relog before trying the event again. Had no effect. Submitting this to support.

Still bugged.
Just did it. Clicked all of the eggs, killed all the normal spawns, came here to find out what was going on and then while reading (after about 2 min) the rare spawned and dropped loot on death. Guess you just have to wait around. 
You were correct on waiting. I clicked eggs and killed anything that spawned and once I got all the eggs done, I waited a few minutes and rare did spawn. So just have a little patience everyone

So, i went in and there were no eggs at all, I killed all the mobs in there still nothing. Then I put a aoe out over where the eggs were supposed to be, got into combat for half a second then the eggs spawned, (the ones immediatly to the right inbetween two blue colored egg clusters)so i think maybe using an aoe over where they are meant to spawn could trigger the spawn to happen, but i still haven’t seen the actual killable rare, just some agitated egg tenders,
Update: i hung around for a while and after 5 minutes the rare did spawn and i got a cool mace from it

Still an issue. Waited for nearly 20 minutes
So i couldnt do the event at first but i did some of the Gorm quest then i went back to the rare and was able to do it so maybe you have to do some of those quest for Gorms before it will let you do anything. I killed it so yeah hopefully that is all it was. Hope this helps
I’d like to say I kept on trying and ultimately it spawned.

i just found the event first the eggs wouldn’t spawn so i checked here and saw that its a little buggy then i logged out and back in and they spawned then slowly i killed each normal add clicking each egg one at a time waiting until the shaking stopped and i have been waiting for over 30 minutes an no rare spawns
Not working for me on Staghelm, either.
Edit: Tried the logging out thing; eggs appeared right at one second. Logged back, in started clicking. Another player started “helping”, so maybe that’s an issue. All I know is this is not your best work. 
Checking in from Moonguard here. Tried it even with another player and it’s not working at all.
So I had the same problem, tried the logging in and logging out to no avail. However, I did turn in the quests I was on (the stunning the gorm ones and collapsing the burrows) and then it worked. Maybe a phasing thing with the quests. I had not killed the matriarch yet so still had the Gormherd branch button up.
Been here several times over the last few days and there has not been eggs that are clickable. There was frequently other people standing around waiting and all seemed to be having the same issue. No rare ever spawned for me.

I clicked all the eggs, then killed all the angry egg keepers that spawned and no rare appeared. Then, when the first egg re-spawned, I clicked it, and went and stood over the “rumbling dirt” patch that shows up in the middle of the room whenever you click an egg; the rare immediately spawned. It could be coincidence, but I think you have to click an egg AND run over the rumbling ground to make the rare spawn.
