Every time a player says this, they are remove any personal credibility on the subject. Easily proven wrong, many times before.
How does it feel repeating the same wrong statement over and over?
howâs it feel beating up kids in the noob bracket?
iâve twinked before, at 19, 29, 39, and 59, every time it was to pwn noobs. then i grew up and started playing at cap. you should grow up too.
What bracket are you in?
lol, not the 49 bracket.
It makes no difference if I am on my 120s or Twinks, there is no shortage of noobs in random Battlegrounds.
Random BGs are always a fun mix of various players, nothing like it!
sure, but im not in the sub H30 bracket. so im not playing with complete noobs unless they group up with someone more experienced.
twinks, especially at the lower levels, have a far greater chance to give a new player a bad impression of pvp and turning them off from ever trying pvp again.
thereâs no reason for combining the two bracketsâŚ
Most new players are on boosted characters. These new players hit 120 fairly fast and are quick to join some PVP.
This is not 2009 with a huge influx of new to MMO crowd starting at level 1.
WoW is always filled with FOTM classes/specs who dominate, character level plays no part in this.
Low level, High level does not make a difference.
Most of the armor pieces in FF7 have hidden stat boosts, along with other secondary effects.
You can see the stat change on the status sheet but not on the actual armor.
And there was the accessory slot too.
those players are still in the sub H30 bracket. but what youâre saying is speculation, we would need a blue to chime in on where a majority of new players are playing, and thatâs not going to happen.
So they should separate new players (accounts) with old players (accounts) in order to make entry level PVP more balanced? What would stop players from starting new accounts and farming easy kills?
theyâve already done this in a way, legion introduced brackets in unrated pvp, non-prestige and prestige players were bracketed separately.
now that honor levels are account wide once you are over 30 you get bracketed with everyone else over 30 regardless of what toon you are on
so the real question is how does it work at lower levels, does a 19 twink at H100 get placed in the same game as a new player at H0? if they are separate, i suspect that is why they allowed twinks back into the normal pool.
Youâre correct. The only reason I can see Blizzard doing it was subs were down. Everyone, especially myself, Felshout and Impalle want them split.
In order to separate players with Artifact weapon upgrade yes.
Week 1 BFA launch there was a well known bug which did separate honor level ranks within the brackets. Direct contact was made with PVP developer and the response/fix was implemented shortly after.
The communication and efficiency was amazingly executed via modern social media.
With the newly adopted BFA gear scaling system Blizzard has no need to create any more confusion with who can play with who. Current PVP developers are firmly aware of this system in place, as it is working as intended.
i donât follow, someone could have had a lvl 99 weapon and be P0. also, everyone at 110 was bracketed together, and 100-109 all had their artifact weapons unless they were dumb.
so a new player at H0 level 10 is going to be potentially facing a H100+ level 19 twink? that sounds real fair and inviting /s
IMO the scaling system is steaming $hit on a stick, templates were better. sending a made in paintbrush infographic out via twitter is just as bad, that means hardly anyone in the community is aware of it. few players even read blue posts, let alone follow devs on twitter.
I am surprised you are unaware of how the system works, I can explain.
Honor levels were obtainable through PVP and PVE within Legion.
In Legion they separated entry level honor characters at end game PVP.
In BFA we do not have Artifact weapons and there was no need for separation.
A brand new 120 at starting honor level can very much be matched against a higher honor level (936?) player in random Battlegrounds.
youâd have to be pretty dedicated to grind prestige via PVE in legion, not saying it wasnât done, but it wasnât nearly as efficient as actually PVPing.
the bracket in legion was this: non-prestige and prestige. once you hit P1 you were put in the big kid pool.
and as far as i know, that hasnât changed, the new bracket point is H30, below that you donât have all your pvp talents. the only way a H0 should be facing a H100 is if queues are really sparse and it needs to mix players to fill the queue or if a subH30 parties with a H30+ player to queue.
what i donât know about is sub-120 pvp, my old twinks are still at the x9 level i left them at and i havenât touched them since wrath, the rest got leveled to 90 in MoP and are collecting dust there.
bracket point?
H0-H29 = noob bracket
H30-H500 = experienced bracket (formerly the prestige bracket)
same to you if you cant hang at the 120 bracket instead you gear a lowbie instead if gearing a main toon .
