You can still get Black Prince rep by killing the August Celestials on the Timeless Isle if it’s just the rep you want. I found this out on a Dracthyr when turning in the quest the last time Pandaria TW was up.

This looks pretty interesting. I am curious about how long the event will be. Also wondering about addons and the race/class combos available. I guess addons will be a yes and race/class combos will be from that era.
Also will there be PvP servers or war mode? Lots of questions. Hopefully more information will come out very soon.

I am agreed with fenelon. I am tired of timed events to. So annoying. There are an abnormal amount of them now.
I mean, we just got plunderstorm. Did we need another so soon. Still working on plunderstorm rep.

Ha! That’s true. I actually liked Timeless Isle back in the day but that was before we had a dozen other iterations of it with every subsequent expansion. 
To this day there is nothing I enjoy less in WoW than camping a rare spawn. Literally no reason for those respawn timers to be so long!
Only 500 at a time though, on a weekly lockout.
It’ll take a looooong time to get Exalted from scratch that way lol

In the section about the cloak, it says, “Power you earn on your strongest character is shared with alternate characters created for the event to make leveling even faster.”

They could do that thing they are doing with pandaria. And have that be the catch. Where if you play a permanent wrath server. You get loot in classic and in retail. Which would actually get people playing wrath classic again to.

There is one major issue I have with 2 significant impacts. Seasonal characters in content separate from standard WoW servers. It splits the player base and makes it harder to find friends and guildies to do things with. I also want to play my existing characters, not create a new toon for seasonal content. That is a huge detriment to a multiplayer game like WoW.
I don’t want to create a new character. I want to play the characters I have. That’s one thing I hated about d3. Yes the characters wound up being moved to my non-seasonal character list, but the end result was that I had toons called Barbarianone, BarbarianTwo, BarbarianThree, etc. which are toons that I never played again after the season. It led to a lot of clutter on the character select screen. I didn’t feel right deleting them, but I don’t want that much clutter either. I knew what class I wanted to play, with the same build, every time. It feels like a waste of character slots when I’d rather play my existing toons.
These events need to take place in the WoW game world on existing servers with existing characters. No seasonal characters please.

Neat. My question is: Will leveling Allied Race characters in this mode award the appropriate Heritage armor? Cause I’m still missing a few of those, and this would be an amazing opportunity to nab them.

I be more open for That kind of Deal… Hell We even throw in some Season of Disvory remix as well like Troll raid in Wrath… where we get to see the Beast of that snake tail and fight off Dakrari loa and trolls.

I’d really like to know if we can use the newer races in this event. If I have to make a new character, I’d like for it to be a Vulpera at least.
