Honestly I’ve never quite understood this one. Unless it has something to do with the original engine WoW used where they couldn’t display other races as Forsaken, I feel like Forsaken should have been representative of all of Azeroth’s races.
The original ones, yes. As the Scourge spread, there should have been more races beyond Humans.

Exactly. After WOTLK pretty much every race should be represented by undead models.

I like all the people commenting with lore reasons why Forsaken shouldn’t be more than humans. As if Blizzard cares about lore anymore. Floodgate’s open now. Embrace the wave.

You’re right, the flood gates are open, but this change would be even more extreme than letting LFD be warlocks.
Some races, like tauren, weren’t even on the continent during the invasion.

I played during the scourge invasion event, the one where players got infected and could infect other players? We went all over. I ran through Org infecting people. Are you saying there were no Tauren in Orgrimmar?

The Forsaken came from Arthas and the Scourge, events that happened before WoW timelines existed.

As other people say in the warlock threads: who cares? It’s just lore. Players want to be Forsaken with other races. Let them have it. Stop limiting fun. What else do they say…gameplay > story.

Exactly. Theres going to be undead pallys, druids and shamans. Cant wait to make a mechagnome druid with transformer animal forms.

No you’re not raised by Arthas in that cinematic. You’re raised by one of Sylvanas’s Val’kyr. It talks about the casualties the undead experienced in the crusade against arthas.
What’s hilarious is I can even make undead Forsaken of other races plausible a lot easier than warlock LFD or Mag’har.
Sylvanas had control of Val’kyr from Cata - BFA. She raised them. Mic drop.
I’m just kind of laughing at the same folks defending the new warlocks but against this request. Lore is gone in this game. It’ll never matter again.

I would be fine if they had never opened up ANY restrictions. Keep it like it was intended. But they threw the door wide open so might as well.
