Undead paladins

There is no reason for these not to exist. They’ve existed in lore since vanilla along with undead holy priests. While they are few in numbers. There is more of them then DRAENEI (not Eredar) Warlocks.

Then not existing is as silly as no human/undead/gnome hunters at launch as well as dwarf mages and warlocks at launch. They make more sense then Tauren paladins which make sense now because of new lore but vanilla lore allowed them to exist.

You can also make an undead skinned blood elfpaladin as you can see here.

I don’t disagree that they should be an option. But I am curious about this. The only one who comes to mind for me is Sir Zeliek, and he was an exceptional case by design. Who else was there?

Calia might be the best example and she would hold more power among the council if she recruited more light undead. :flashlight::robot:

Daily thread.

Daily Response: They are slowly doing all race all class. Youll get your undead paladins same time as every other race gets theirs.

I think an undead hunter is rather silly, wouldn’t animals smell a rotting corpse and think…mmm lunch?

Undead Evokers!

Like I said before, paladins are no more than militant priests. If a race has a ‘priest’ class, there’s room for paladins.

The day they make an undead paladin, is the day I’ll finally make one after 15 years on this game. Tauren, zandalari and BE’s, just dont do it for me.

If they do become a thing they’ll be popular for a week and then die out like Tauren rogues

Undead Paladins do exist, they’re called Death Knights.

Give us this day our daily thread…

Lore wise they make sense too. A lot of paladins fell protecting or attempting to protect Lorderon.

‘Undead with Holy-Spec shouldn’t exist.’

Forsaken Paladins make no sense because the Forsaken are an evil faction.
Whether Caila is truly undead remains to be seen.

Ion is wrong. They’ve been around since Vanilla.

Not to mention as recently as legion there is an undead holy priest. They’ve always existed.

Forsaken aren’t evil + Evil paladins can exist. There is nothing to perclude evil and the usage of the light. The light obeys anyone with faith the faith doesn’t even have to be in the light itself: see night elf priests, and troll priests.

He didn’t deny that they exist. He said that they shouldn’t exist.
And he’s right ofc.

Lorewise, you need to be convinced that you’re morally good to cast the light.
It’s a kinda softer version of the D&D rule for paladins in Warcraft.

The Forsaken are deliberately the embodiment of evil. This is proven by almost every single questline regarding them. Even the Kalimdor Horde distrusts them.
If undead paladins were physically possible, they would only be found in the Argent Crusade or a similar group.

They should add Undead Pallys but also add a 1% chance where popping wings instead incinerates them.

Wrong.
Undeath is an aberration of life which must be destroyed to bring back the natural order of things. Forsaken are the worst parts of humanity smashed together with an urge to destroy all life on Azeroth… or did you forget all the alchemy experiments, Wrathgate, hell even your precious Undercity, along with every deed your Lich Queen has done resulting in the deaths of millions?

No, Azeroth will not be at peace as long as the dead walk the lands. Death Knight is all you’re gonna get (unless you torture a light being for your powers I guess - it worked for the Blood Elves).

I… would be ok with this.
