Undead or orc warlock?

Undead looks kickazz and makes more sense to me… but orc warlock with racial +SL sounds like a force to be reckoned with in bgs…(will solely bg and wpvp… only raid for gear to pvp)

Play whatever you wish! But orc is best for pvp for horde races.

Orc is better against Rogues and makes lock a hard counter.
Undead is better against other locks and priests, WOTF is very good.

For PVE Orc has a slight edge but its nothing crazy.

Undead is one of the master wpvp races. (NE and Dwarf are up there dep class)
Not only will you be following one of the epic class/race combo themes but the cannibalize ability will be a huge lifesaver down the line. Also fighting other warlocks being able to ward off fear and fear them back would be amazing!

And let us be honest. Undead look a lot better in a dress than orcs do. And if WPVP, cannibalize is a great taunt.

As mentioned, both racial abilities are strong. Last time I chose undead due to an on demand cc breaker. Orc is rng which for me isn’t as fun.

Best advice is to go with what is fun to you.

Both Forsaken and Orc are good warlocks. But a good racial advantage Forsaken had back then for rolling other Forsaken classes is, if I remember correctly, Forsaken could stay underwater longer than any other race. And in original WoW, you can only stay underwater for a few seconds before needing to surface for air. (unless you were druid or warlock).

It’s frustrating cause I want to play Alliance but horde racials are really good. We got paladins but not sure it really makes up for it ;s

And Dwarfs.

OMG I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THIS.
OP GO FORSAKEN.

Flashbacks of trying to fight a warlock in the water in booty bay as a paladin emerged. Fear making you swim faster but then out of fear you were slow as freakin’ heck! Could not even touch the bloody warlock!

Wait… Correct me if I am wrong forums but did warlocks get a breath under water buff??

Besides priest what was so great about dwarves? I get that stoneform gave you 10% physical damage reduction and bleeds/poison/disease immunity but how OP is that? Mostly an advantage over enemy rogue/warrior. Perhaps the best thing about it is that it removed a rogues blind.

Later (BC?) blind was chanced to physical from poison so it was no longer affected by stoneform. Although modern wow stone form also acts differently. Same thing with escape artist being a 0.5? second cast in vanilla but today it’s instant. I’m a little surprised warstomp is still the 0.5 second cast that it’s been since vanilla.

Yes. Unending Breath was castable on the warlock and their allies.

I would say for rogue wise you could use it for a clean vanish. It could also be used to remove the hunter viper sting being a poison to reduce mana drainage. Aside from what you mentioned not much else really.

Okay I thought they had something like that, it just wacked me right at the end there. Warlocks were one of the few classes I’ve had so little interest in and only got one to lvl 22 or so. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback y’all! I love how undead looks in the lock gear plus they don’t look soo goofy on the class mount. I’m leaning way towards the undead… but that orc racial… 25% stun resist that’s really hard to pass up… they don’t look bad in the warlock gear but they look goofy as heck on a horse lol. Will be looking into some things. Thanks again y’all have a good day :+1:

Undead WOTF is strong and can get you a kill every 2 min.

Orcs stun resist can go off back to back.

I fear good rogues more than Locks or priests.

As a Lock (gnome) I feared rogues the most and mages the least. Orc.

WoTF is powerful and undead are better than orcs for pvp.

Apples to Apples here. Play whatever race you find you will like better. Each PvP situation will be different on whether you are engaging melee or ranged. While both racials are strong, one is better for melee and the other is good for fear or MC. Personal opinion - Orc.

For a Rogue specifically bleeds were one of the biggest counters to restealthing. Dwarfs could easily restealth.

definitely undead.
