I know im going to get a lot of heat for this but hear me out!
Forsaken models are bad. Theyre ugly. Theyre weak. You cant make a forsaken look scary, threating, imposing, or with a commanding presence. They just look weak and derpy…
Notice All the important undead characters in WoW arent forsaken.
Sylvanas- elf model
Nathanos- human model
Lich king- human model
Kel-'Thuzad- human/tall skeleton model
Daelin Proudmoore- human model (even though he’s been rotting under water since the 2nd war)
Every notable undead isnt forsaken. Thats because you cant make a badass looking forsaken character. They slouch, theyre thin, their faces are plain, they just look like garbage! I propose another character creation option to make more stoic looking forsaken.
TLDR: Give Forsaken:
-Straight back option like the orcs got! (Just give them human rigs)
-Skeleton option if i wanna look like a badass King Leoric or Lich! Gimme Blizz!

I’m not opposed to more customization options, but I like how the Forsaken look. They’re rotting corpses - they’re not supposed to look beautiful.
It’s annoying how Blizzard seems to hate giving big lore characters the ugly Forsaken model. I don’t think they’ve even come up with an explanation yet for Daelin Proudmoore being so pretty. The guy has been dead in the ocean since the Second War, most of his fellow sailors were freaking skeletons when we found him, and yet his body happens to be fully intact.

It’s literally reason i explained above. People cant get attached to characters using the forsaken models. Which is why he has the human model. Case and point!
Im not saying forsaken should look pretty. Im saying they should look scary! Right now they look derpy and non-threatening. You can make the forsaken model look menacing or imposing. They look weak and subservant. Hence why thr forsaken will never have a leader that looks like them…

Hey I would love more options on my Forsaken. Maybe some elbows, toes, knee and finger tips, hip bones back bones covered with skin. Keep the the gaunt appearances.
Heck I’m for more customization’s for all the races.

Somehow it’s always people posting on a non-Forsaken toon complaining about how “nobody likes the Forsaken model”…how about we ask the people who actually play Forsaken toons? I’m sure a lot of them like it

Honestly, if they got a straight back option like the Forsaken Battleguard I would roll one right now. That hunch just kinda kills it for me.

All in favor of Mortis to put his shirt back on?

What ever happened to the Worgen / Goblin re-make? I thought that was official? Is that next patch?
Next patch. 8.2.5, friend

Exactly! Even the guards are starting to stand up straight so they can be taken more seriously

I don’t think your views represent the views of most WoW players. I don’t have issues getting attached to the rotting corpse models. I was attached to the Tidesage guy Sylvanas murders right before arresting Baine. I also really like Lilian Voss. There’s also Faol and other rotting Undead characters that are really cool.
As for scary… ehh. They’re not scary, but they are a little creepy in my opinion. Some of them literally have no jaw attached - just a hanging tongue. That’s as creepy as you’ll probably ever get from a WoW race.

Whats your comment about them not looking imposing, commanding, or in charge… they just arent threatening…
Assuming it wasn’t pushed back, yes. 8.2.5 Supposedly with their heritage armor, but I think that was just a rumor. Maybe official!
My gripes with the Forsaken are lack of bone:flesh options and the female undead run. I wish there were more options to cover the bones on our Undead or show them. The female undead is a bit too “giddy” for me. If I could change it to the male run without having to play a male, I definitely would. It’s not terrible and I’m still leveling one right now even still. Would still like more options!
Edit: I know Blizzard wouldn’t give us this much customization. BUT! I would love if there was an NPC that was basically a Barber+ for Forsaken. The NPC would give those extra options of adding flesh to certain parts or removing it from others. I like my boney shoulders, spine, and hips. I’d probably add some flesh to my knees and elbows if I could. Or, rip more off! The extra NPC would be so that they wouldn’t have to change the current Barber UI.
Grand Apothecary Putress
Doctor Theolen Krastinov
Professor Putricide
Cage Head
I think they look fine. The only issue I have is that the animation rework was a downgrade.

How much screen time did any of those characters get and werent quickly mowed down by the players?

They should just give us the Chinese undead models and be done with it.
