If you read what I typed, it could have spawned while I was sleeping. I am not staying up all night to make a trinket and I shouldn’t be asked to. Also storm didn’t spawn again just now.
Why? It’s only been 7 hours since the last reply.
It’s worrying that an almost middle aged person is talking in a manner that made me assume they were in their mid teens or younger.
After 4 days of leveling alts in the Barren and getting the fire ,water ,earth dimmed primeval i moved to the badlands and got the storm from the Unbridled storm Lord , as easy as it sounds
I said half an hour to farm. Maybe they can only play for an hour and a half but to try and do everything they want in the game they can only spend thirty minutes on it.
My point was is that you don’t know why some people don’t have it yet. People like myself have actually been trying. Just very unlucky when I play, that the Storm elemental hasn’t been up.
I read what you said. This event has also been up for almost going on 2 weeks now. If you’re scrambling to get the fourth trinket piece two days before it ends, that’s squarely a you problem.
This is why you don’t wait until the last few days when RNG is involved.

I reiterate, even if we had four spawn points instead of three, people would still be belly aching the day before it ends how they “unfairly” haven’t gotten all four pieces yet. Either you cared enough about the achievement and trinket to get it in the time frame or you didn’t.
I didn’t make the time to get the Teldrassil Hippogryph going into BFA, but I didn’t make a thread about it or support a thread complaining about not getting it.

Just popped on here to see if it was just me. On the rare chances that he’s been up in rotation, I’ve killed him a dozen times with no luck.
At the end of the day, is another heirloom trinket really going to matter to me? Not really. Is it slightly irritating to see such an obvious extra layer of RNG at play? Yeah. Lil’ bit.

you could cheese it, when he was up and que in lfg for people with “storm boss up in X area” you basically have infinite shots at it.

You’re really missing the point. I mean exactly what I’m about to say to you. Some people only have a set time to play, when they’re playing the storm elemental isn’t up. That isn’t their fault, that is the games fault. Not sure if it’s bugged or just badly rotated. Having said that if the event had actually came to end I wouldn’t be here saying anything. Because it’s ended and that would be that.
No, his spawn rate is MUCH less than any other one. I managed to get it, but I had to nolife it on Friday from 9pm until 5pm (the next day) when he finally spawned. I knew if I didn’t watch it at night that he would have only spawned then (that part is totally just feelings obviously, but I stand by the spawn rate being trash).

If we had four spawn points instead of three and all four invasions were up at the same time, then it would be better. I was out of town last week completely and storm never dropped the times I -did- kill him.

I don’t think it would have helped much since Blizzard clearly made the storm lord’s spawn rate atrocious.
The storm stone was the first one of the 4 stones I got.
Fire was the one I had to work on most, for me that one never seemed to want to spawn.

Ya, I started a “grp” on LFG to see if it’s up on anyone else’s server and I’m getting tells left and right from people saying they haven’t seen him all day. So far it seems the spawns are the same across servers.
I’m about as much of a Blizzard shill as you’ll find, but these events shouldn’t be random.
All four events should always be active in a relevant zone to their element, it’s a bit late now of course. But I hope you get a storm to proc before it’s over. I’m keeping an eye on them for several friends as well.
