That said… you could also learn how to properly address someone because, you know, you are a MVP.

Your thread isn’t looking for advice, your thread is a complaint thread and as with most threads a discussion of differing opinions at the end of the day, which I gave mine. Its an absurd complaint, you are actively ignoring every counter argument, and your responses to me are focusing entirely on my green text and title because you have no counter argument.

In fact, looking through this thread you have quite literally responded to no one else, people echoing the same sentiments I have put forward at that. Your literal only responses have been to me, have ignored any and all debate/discussion, and have been focused on me being a green.

I may only be a little over a year into being an MVP, but my experience thus far dictates that you are not here looking for discussion and instead are looking for an echo chamber to validate your complains and the fact that you can only fixate on the green/title is very telling.

Others are pointing out why this isn’t a problem, why this isn’t new, myself included and you are ignoring them all while criticizing me on how “I” need to be more “professional” by some weird personal standard you wish to impose upon me?

MVPs are supposed to act like what they are: ordinary players who happen to have shown themselves to be particularly knowledgeable or helpful contributors to the forums. Consider green text as if it were a visible indicator of an imaginary Trust Level somewhere above 3.

In particular, if it’s appropriate for any other poster to start a post with “Lol”, it’s appropriate for an MVP to do so.

I didn’t realize that greens were supposed to be this unprofessional.

I noticed a problem in the design of the battlepet daily fights. Not using the Unborn Valkyr and Ikky to do them makes them immensely difficult. I, too, can go out and tame the Unborn Valkyr and level it and Ikky; however, I think it’s a lot nicer when you don’t have to rely on the same exact 2 pets to do all of the battlepet dailies.

The ones required to complete the Argus achievement is not any better, in fact it is MUCH worse. I still have nightmares of some of the battles there.

Maybe the OP needs not to complain and the greenies won’t go being snarky?

What are they even complaining about? That you can use 3 pets to make pet battles in Naz/Mecha easier, pet battles that are already annoying and you can’t outlevel them. Soon as I realised Boneshard/Ikky/Valkyr could all take half of the legendaries out, I used the pet charms to boost them to rare 25’s and went ahead to kill most of them. (Even if a few are frustrating to kill, thanks to Boneshard’s most powerful attack also missing).

It’s amazing, you think they just go their own way if they don’t want to do a guide. I followed some comments on a thread that suggested a few other pets too.

Like OP, if you don’t want to use them, don’t. There’s no law saying you gotta obey them. The guide is there for people who want to able to defeat the annoying critters. (Also my guide said Boneshard/Ikky, not Ikky/Unborn Valkyr, see how they can be different).

And obviously its working, 8.2 has shown a massive upswing in the number of participants in Pet Battles based off of testimony alone and I would be curious in knowing the metrics of how many more people do them in 8.2.

It’s only because half of the rep you can get in the new zones comes from pet battles.

People who want to get it done the fastest will be utilizing this and it’s not because they like it.

Yeah, if they become an AR and if they can be Paladin’s ill be treading that direction. If they become an AR and if they can’t be Paladins I might end up retiring this Paladin for a different class Which would be a huge bummer but I really like the little fox guys.

Aside from the 1 time turn-ins, which do add up, the daily quests don’t really give a whole lot more than anything else.

Maybe, but speaking personally, I only had 4 level 25 battle pets before 8.2 and now I have something like 30 or so 25’s and have really gotten into battle pets as a whole thanks to 8.2 making the barrier to entry so much easier.

Honestly, after I level up the last one in my queue I am planning to start working towards the Battle Pet dungeons.

Again, that’s just me and I do agree with what you said with a lot of people doing it just for the rep and not liking it but I do honestly feel like there has to be more people like myself who have really gotten into it now.

Again, not doubting that the people you suggested don’t exist. I totally get that but again I do think that its been great for getting a lot more people into them as a whole.
