I had 3 accounts banned last week over cheat/hacks programs. I put in a appeal and it was denied. How can I find out what program might of caused the ban? I do not run any programs with wow except a few addons from Curse. I tried to look on my computer for names of programs people have mentioned in other threads but I’m clueless when it comes to computers, not sure if I’m searching for programs the right way.
I did find on the Overwatch forum that people got a false ban from a “HyperX NGENUITY” program last Sept. I do have the headphones but can’t find any program on my computer. Probably not the issue but that’s the only idea I can find.
I don’t have a auto hot key program, that I can find or know of. My Razer keyboard and mouse are set to the factory defaults so no fancy key binds.
You don’t. The GM’s will never reveal what the warden detected.
The nefarious people that likely lurk on these forums as well would absolutely love to have that information.

If you multibox these accounts, there can be no streamlining whatsoever. Something that we’ve seen is activating keybinds while hovering over an inactive window. This is streamlining and will get your accounts actioned. Same with one keybind being replicated across multiple windows.
You must activate the window, then use your keybind.

These are some of the most common culprits but I see you already checked for that.
This indicates to me that you are likely multiboxing. It is allowed, but it has to be done totally manually.
ANYTHING software or hardware related that streamlines it, or assists in any way, is not allowed. They don’t discuss how they can detect streamlining of multiboxing accounts.
If that is even what you were penalized for. I am just guessing based on your statement that 3 accounts were banned.

1 account doing the killing and 2 accounts on follow, not performing any actions. Alt+tab to the follower accounts just to loot. 1 button 1 action from the account doing the killing. Rather simple so shouldn’t be a reason for the bans.
Just out of curiosity - do you have anything mapped to your wheel button? Sometimes it seemed as though players were getting dinged because the wheel was spinning fast enough that it was reading like automation. Purely conjecture on my and other players’ parts, but that is something I feel compelled to inquire about.
Unless you see a Blue post from an authenticate Blizzard employee - take anything you see from players with a grain of salt. In all of my time here on CS, I’ve yet to see the SFAs say anything definitive about any specific program. There may be allusions to something or another, but you do not see them say X was the reason you were suspended, let alone a GM in ticket responses/appeals. They do not give definitive THIS is allowed or THIS is what dinged your account.

Yes, In the game interface. I have the “clicker/break” on so it should only be hit a couple times. I use it for things like mage blink or the DH felrush.
I just asked so I would be able to correct the problem. No point in moving forward just to get banned again.
I still don’t think there is a program on my computer since I only play wow and browse the internet and keep things simple. I can’t even remember the last time I’ve downloaded anything, probably a few years ago.

I think I’m just done with wow. 17 years of alts, guilds and gold gone. Guess Blizz emptied my guilds so they are gone anyway.

You can appeal multiple times, until they tell you it’s final and no more appeals will be considered. They will not tell you what was detected though, because organized crime cartels would absolutely love to know how their detection methods work.

Time to take the loss and try a new game.

sounds to me like OP used some software to streamline their multiboxing setup which of course is bannable, 1 button to 1 action, on one character.

Well there is something on your system, not sure what but only suggestion would be full system wipe and start again. If you’re going to continue playing. And only installing what is absolutely necessary to play.
There is Customer Service in the game, clearly evidenced by the fact that you were suspended for toxicity and profanity. If you dont agree with the ruling, then by all means try to appeal it until they say you cant anymore. If you dont like the rules, then by all means, find another game.

Don’t respond to the troll, they’re trying to get a forum ban to go along with their threatened unsubscribe flounce.
The best response to a tantrum is to ignore it.
And it looks like the moderators have already disintegrated their garbage, so unfortunately you look like you’re responding to no one. Which was true all along, from a certain point of view.
