Add in the mounts permanently blizzard. Alleviate ALL of the reasons you stated that you didn’t want to include them.
The LARGE majority of people who have voiced their opinions are in favor of having these mounts in the game in some capacity, or simply do not care either way. I don’t know what would possess someone to NOT want these mounts in the game besides the satisfaction of knowing someone else won’t be getting what they want.
So far we’ve had someone who is bitter about not getting AV 1.5, someone who is bitter about not getting transmog, someone who previously had one of the mounts in retail and doesn’t want other people to get it in classic, and a handful of people who are simply contrarians. It is painfully obvious that these people are disagreeing because misery loves company, not because they possess legitimate reasons as to why these mounts shouldn’t be added.
Blizzard, by not including these mounts you will be pissing off more people than you will please. Please include these mounts in classic, you said yourselves that this was a museum piece… so what is it truly? Is this a museum or is it something else?
And for anyone wondering, I DO speak for the majority. We, the majority, want these mounts added to classic in some capacity.
You had more than a month in Vanilla to obtain an unarmored mount. Placing that time restriction only compounds on the reasoning that Blizzard has presented.
If they were put in for a reasonable limited time and I was not able to obtain one then so be it. If people cannot take a loss like an adult, that’s on them.
Classic is not authentic if we don’t even see these mounts around.
Nope. Like I replied to the last person who used this failed logic it is more than just a single factor. You don’t get to pick one part of my reasoning and act like you refuted it entirely.
Invest your time and energy into something more productive. All items are updated to their 1.12 version, including the mounts. You’re not getting it, move on.
More people wanting something does not mean anything. Majority rule is how we ended up with retail. It’s blizzard’s game and they should design it to what they want, not what the players want.
Wanting something that existed in Vanilla is not how we will end up in retail, FYI. If we let Blizzard make the decision we will end beyond BfA content wise. This is not the same Developers that made Vanilla back in the day, so they shouldn’t try and “design” it their way at all.
Blizzard did not want those mounts in the game. The only reason some people still have them is they did not want to go the extra step of actually removing them from players. In this case, they can avoid that situation entirely. And have chosen to do so.
The issue is not unarmored mounts in general. But nice try. Blizzard clearly wanted the armored mounts to be what players got as their epic class mount, as demonstrated by removing the originals. You can try to dance around the issue all you want but the fact they took them out originally, and are now keeping them out, demonstrates their intent by action.
