Unable to use in mail gold to purchase token

Hello! I was looking to come back to wow after a break and a friend sent me gold to buy a token but I’ve dont have the option to use gold from the mail. I’ve done it before, used gold from completed auctions on the mail.

I wonder if a GM can assit me to retrive the gold and buy the token or If they can activate my main wow account to do it myself

Gold in the mail should count when you try to buy a token from the character selection screen.

Yep, I remember that and thats why my friend sent me the gold, but the option is grayed out :frowning:

Are you sure you have enough gold for the token? I know a long time back if buying the token meant that one character would end up with zero gold, the system wouldn’t work.

Not sure if that’s still a thing.

oh yep he sent me more than what is worth right now, in case the price changed

You can try putting in a ticket and asking for a little game time to be able to get the gold out.

just did that ingame, took me a while to find out the option to open a ticket lol

You could try a full ui reset see if that fixes it.

Just to be sure, you are on the character selection screen for Area 52? Where the gold was sent.

If so, and you still aren’t getting the option, please submit a ticket. Use Purchase Failure for this.

yes sir, I’m on area 52 and with the character that was sent the mail highlited I can send a screenshot if you like

Definitely submit a ticket so a Game Master can take a look and maybe provide a bit of a credit so you can get your WoW Token.
