I am unable to turn in the quest “Last Stand of the Moon Guard”. When I try to interact with First Arcanist Thalyssra I get a red error message saying “You can’t do that right now”. Unfortunately the ticket I submitted for this issue has been answered with an automated reply offering solutions that have not helped.
This character was originally Nightborne and I faction changed her to a Night Elf before starting the Moon Guard Stronghold storyline. This is frustrating because I cannot complete the Balance of Power storyline without turning in this quest. Any help would be appreciated!
At the bottom of the ticket should be an option to reopen it. Do that. Do NOT submit a new ticket - reopen the “answered” ticket so it gets placed higher in the queue. Someone should take a closer look at it the second time around.
Also, there’s a comment on Wowhead stating that party syncing with someone may be a workaround for it. It may be worth a shot while you wait for your reopened ticket to receive a response.

Unfortunately the party sync solution did not work for me, but I have reopened the ticket. I think the faction change might be the problem but I’m not sure.
As noted in the thread you posted in yesterday, Kythara, during periods of higher volume we have an automated reply that goes out that helps direct folks to information and self-help options for those categories. This is designed to help folks who actually do not need our help but might be a little lost/confused get some direction/advice on what to do. If you still need help, please just reopen your ticket.
