I was able to pickup and do this quest but the NPC has no orange ? above its head. It shows it on the minimap but the NPC will not allow me to turn in the quest. Is this because of the event going on? If so this should not be happening. I wanted to complete my 15 aspirants quest before Shadowlands to clear my quest log.
Yup! The pre-patch event quests are phasing the entire zone. Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait til the expansion launches to continue the chain.
I need to know if its intentional or a bug. If its fixable then I hope they fix it. I need to finish this quest since it takes days to complete.
From what I understand it’s not a bug. Like I said, you most likely have to wait til the event is over.
Well do you know if the aspirants seals for the quest that asks for 15 disappear if you abandon the quest? If I keep them then I can abandon it and do it later. I just want a clear quest log going into Shadowlands but this quest takes several days to complete and I didn’t want to lose my progress.
That I do not know, I would assume they would as that’s how it works with other quests. Unless they are an item that physically sits in your bags.
It is currently intended, as this is a temporary event. Once the scourge event ends you should be able to complete those dailies as normal.
They are not listed as quest items so don’t disappear if you abandon the quest. I just tested it to be certain and abandoning “Up to the Challenge” with Aspirant’s Seals in the character’s inventory. Doing so left the items behind.
