I have been trying to submit a customer support ticket through the battle.net website daily for over a week now and the website just keeps coming up with the error:
“You can’t submit this ticket. An error has occurred. This may be a temporary error, so please try again later.”
I am experiencing a technical display issue and I need to submit screenshots and my DxDiag/MSInfo, but I just cannot submit a ticket.
Can Blizz please help me contact them so that I can resolve my issue? Is there an email address I can send my issue to and attach my screenshots, etc? Or is there some known problem that customer support tickets just haven’t been working this month?
Have you trying the support link at the top of the page? Have you tried different browsers?

It usually deals with the format or size of the file you are trying to submit, there should be guidelines for these files on the ticket page.

Have you tryed the Tech Support forums? Those guys are pretty knowledgeable.

There are size limits on files attached to tickets. I don’t recall what they are offhand, but you should be able to inquire in the tech support forum to find out.

We can only accept files smaller than 15MB.
Actually it’s in small print, scroll down to the bottom of the ticket page.

Thanks for the quick responses!
I’ve tried multiple browsers, same issue. I’m accessing the ticket through the Support link at the top of the battle.net page.
I’m aware of the file sizes and accepted formats. I am attaching 2 JPGs and 2 GIFS, each is less than 15MB. They all fall within the accepted file sizes and formats indicated in the small text on the site.
The reason I haven’t asked technical support is that it’s incredibly difficult to actually explain what display issue i’m experiencing. Screenshots and the GIFs show exactly the issue.
And the MSinfo and DXdiag files?

Just popping in to say I’m not ignoring this thread. Everyone seems to have already offered what advice I could. Anything beyond that I would point to those much more tech savvy.
Good luck, Rothex.

Yes, I’m attaching those too. They’re only like 1MB each though. They’re TXT files, which again are supported per the file format list in the small text. I’ve been attaching them to the section that requests them.
What I don’t know is:
-
Are the DxDiag and the MSinfo files included in the ‘maximum of 4 files’ list? The what it is written implies no.
-
Is there some hidden character limit on the text box?
I’ve been attaching the JPGs and GIFs to the ‘Attach a file’ right at the bottom under the Description box, as it allows all 4 files to be attached there.
Have you tried not attaching 2 of the picture files? I was more worried about the size then having 6 files total.
A way around things sometimes is to post the pictures to a site like Imgur.
Then, use the links instead of the actual files.
Another option is to create the post on Tech Support with all the info, then link that in your ticket.
You won’t be able to make clickable links on TS, but you can post each file, highlight it, then click the Preformatted text button </>.
When you post links there, also highlight them and click the same button. That puts it into a text format that posts and does not throw errors. It won’t be clickable, but the support folks can read and copy it.
I am mostly doing some outside thing with family right now, but will be back in an hour or so and will check TS. If I need to, I will copy your post into mine and format it. I have the posting rights to make clickable links and such.

Thanks all for your advice.
I ended up cutting out some text and only attaching two files, and it ended up finally submitting.
Still unclear on what the issue was, as it had been occurring for over a week. If there’s some hidden character text limit for the Description box then it would be good to state a character limit. If the 4 files maximum includes the DxDiag and the MSInfo, then also state that so it’s clearer.
