I have not played retail in over a decade and I boosted my old character to 70. I wanted to try to get the void edge illusion, so I’m trying to start the visions of N’Zoth quest line. However, Anduin is not in the throne room… instead Turalyon is in his place. I’ve checked that I haven’t started any of these quest chains but no luck.
Is the visions of N’Zoth quest chain still doable or am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.
It might help to know which character and server, specifically because your posting on a Classic character.
But it could be Anduin is in a different place due to the quests you have in the area. This is mentioned in the link in your own post.

As the WoWhead link for the Visions of N’zoth Introduction Questline notes, you must have completed some content in order to unlock that content.
Specifically, this should apply to you, Saeyon.
To unlock Horrific Visions, you must be level 50. Once you are level 50, you must unlock the Heart of Azeroth, Nazjatar, and the Heart Forge.
