yep and thisis not gonna be fixed until they have a list of hotfixes cause blizz doesnt bother putting effort in to fix 1 issue xd
Yes, I noticed that same thing on the character I hit 50 on tonight, and it seemed really odd. I think the latest patch today (or yesterday?) broke the BFA-related intro questlines somehow.
latest hotfix did it yes the only way u can get the start quest for bfa is by doing exileās reach and dont skip stormwind tour otherwise your screwed regardless of what level u are and whatrace
Well, Iām not going to be restarting characters Iāve had for years in order to try to work around a bug that Blizzard just introduced. Iāll just stop my leveling on my other alts at 49 (which are also already in the 30s and 40s) until the bug is fixed again.

Adding my name here. I faction changed Saturday and then spent a time longer than I care to admit trying to get caught up. I was out doing random quests in Tiragarde Sound, no breadcrumbs leading anywhere, many quests I canāt do and some in Boralus with a ā?ā on the map but nobody is thereā¦ Going between Stormwind and Silithus and Boralus looking for what I missed. Wild goose chase.
At least now I figure I have to sit back and let them fix it.
Adding one more to the list, i have tested on two allied race characters and both are missing the NPC and quests needed to start BFA.
As alliance going into the harbor results in no NPCs present to give the quest. Talking to Chromie and confirming that I am not in any other timeline (as such i am in the BFA timeline) also confirms the quest is bugged.
Anduin is missing and as such canāt be talked to in order to grab a quest either, and Shaw as mentioned is completely missing from the Harbor. The npc in the center of the Trade District does not offer any quests, and the Adventuring Boards only offer quests to go to Tanaan Jungle or some Pandaria zones.
hopefully the fix is here fast!

Or maybe blizzard doesnāt care because its only broken for Alliance.
Iām actually having this issue with Cata. I choose cata when I talk to chromie, but then the heroās board doesnāt give me the quest to start cata. I get like hellfire, duskwood, and wetlands from the hero board instead. and the portals on the island in SW donāt work so canāt use them to start it either
I donāt think thatās a bug. You canāt start the actual Cataclysm zones until you get flying at 30. Cata includes Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor zones so it makes sense that the board would give you quests to Duskwood and Wetlands. Not sure about Hellfire.
well, after dropping it and reaquiring it about 40 times on my hunter, I finally got it so donāt think so. It finally sent me to talk to the druid in org to be sent to hyjal(via moonglade)
