Unable to redeem Blizzcon 2017 Virtual Ticket Code

Hello, I’m trying to redeem a code for the Stormwind Skychaser/Orgrimmar Interceptor, however battle.net is telling me I already have access to that product. I don’t have the achievement nor mounts in-game however. I also submitted a support ticket but I have no idea how to move forward…

Edit: I did not originally buy a 2017 virtual ticket on this account, so I’m not sure why battle.net is telling me I already have this product, unless the code I have is not actually for this mount, but I have no way to verify that.

Second Edit: I made a new battle.net account to verify the code is legitimate and it does offer to let me redeem a 2017 Blizzcon Virtual Ticket Code, however I’m unable to do this on my main/current account which I would prefer to do.

Please read the comments on this page.

For what info exactly?

According to this page, these items would have been gifted to those whom attended the Blizzcon 2017. Did you attend this Blizzcon?

I have a code from Blizzcon 2017 that I am attempting to redeem.

However, battle.net tells me I already have that product.

I do not currently have the mount or achievement on my account, so I don’t “already have this product”.

Where did you acquire this code? it could have an expiration date or was the code acquired second hand?

https://www.wowtcgloot.com/stormwind_skychaser.htm

Their site does not seem to indicate there is an issue/limitation redeeming them as they are currently still being sold.

The code appears to be legitimate as battle.net is not telling me that it is invalid, just that I already have it, but I don’t know why because I have never redeemed this before, and don’t have the mount…

I personally can not validate this site, but typically if one gets this type of error message it could mean that someone else has already used this code. I would contact the site where you purchased the code and complain.

I’ll see if this thread flags down a CS rep. Battle.net isn’t saying its invalid or expired, just that I already have it. I never originally purchased the 2017 virtual ticket, this seems to be some weird licensing or entitlement issue.

When searching, I get mixed reviews about this site. otherwise this is all I can do. you either need to submit a support ticket or contact that site.

I’ve done so, and I’ve used this site quite a bit for TCG codes etc… and haven’t had any issues. I suppose it is possible that the code they sent me is for some other reward that I do in-fact already have but I’m waiting to hear back.

If talking to Landro doesn’t give you the mount, it will likely take waiting on your ticket. Good luck to you.

It’s a battle.net code, it isn’t a TCG code.

Unless you know exactly what is going on please let those who know answer. Can just confuse things if your not giving the right answers. Best not to guess

My brain isn’t working today apparently. My apologies. Before 2009, TCG and code redemption went hand in hand, and that I think is what stuck in my head.

For that, you will likely have to wait on that ticket regardless.

Considering its a 3rd party site id be highly skeptical wouldnt be the first time something like this has happened. I could be wrong tho.

I edited my original post to add, I tested the code on a fresh battle.net account and it is a legitimate Blizzcon 2017 Virtual Ticket code, however I would prefer to redeem it on my main account.

Those codes are usualy a one time use i think.

You get a confirmation before actually redeeming it, which I did not click on.

Ok with that said the best option would be to submit a ticket and inquire. It could simply even be a gift that wasn’t claimed. Check your transaction history to see if it show up there as well. There is a reason your account is telling you that you already own it.
