I have scoured forums and fan pages to find an answer, but cannot. I cannot queue for any dungeon in the Cataclysm time line on some of my characters. Today is a lvl 11 Lightforge Draenaei with an ilvl of 29 and all the group finder says is that i don’t meet requirements for the classic dungeons. I have no idea why. Does anyone else have any insight?
If you recently accepted the Welcome Back package (gear/bag upgrade) on any of them, it triggers the system into thinking they’re boosted. If that’s the case, there is a 24 hour lockout on dungeons.

Even though you’re in the Cata timeline, not all instances open up right away.
Looking at my level 10 Lightforged, I’ve got this:

But…then I went and switched over to Cata on my level 52, I was still locked out of Cata level stuff.
Mind you, I haven’t done the new gear update on any of these folks. I’m going to tinker around some and see if it needs some Cata zone’s entry stuff completed first. I’ll update when I have more of an idea here.

Okay. I’m still at a loss as to why my now level 53 paladin cannot queue up for the dungeons, but digging up some of the guides for when Chromie Time went live, you cannot queue for Cata level instances until you’re at least level 30.
Mind you, that guide was posted back with Shadowlands, but I don’t recall there being any major changes save for the timelines scaling to 60 and the option to choose Shadowlands timeline.
Did you accept the Welcome Back package on the characters you are having an issue with, Clennise?
Looking at your Draenei Mage I see bags and equipment I believe is from that package (it all has the same creation time, so it seems likely). If that is the case, there is an issue that we’re aware of that is preventing those characters from entering a dungeon for 24 hours, as if you used a character boost.
It should clear up after the 24 hour mark. Sorry for the confusion.

I did accept the welcome back package. I did not know that locked me out of the Cataclysm timeline dungeons for 24 hours. Thanks for the help!
