Hey there! Though my forum profile may show it, I am not currently in a guild but seem to be unable to be invited into one. Just did a BFD run with a guild group and they said whenever any of them tried to invite me it gave them the message is already in a guild.
So for example one of them is named Fundraiser - it gave that person the message “Fundraiser is already in a guild”
I don’t have “Block Guild Invites” turned on (tried toggling it on and off), I relogged, I tried /gquit (but was given the message “You are not in a guild”), idk what else to do
Sometimes things get wonky and hung up in the system for odd reasons. If you just recently left you previous guild, it may not have registered fully yet. (The hows and whys these things happen when they do are a mystery to us all).
At worst, it may get itself cleared up with the weekly reset on Tuesday. Something you can give a shot to? If you’re able to reach out to the GM or an officer from your previous guild - see if they still show your character in the guild roster. If it’s still there, get them to give it a boot. That sort of thing has worked for characters who didn’t leave their guild before doing a faction or realm transfer at least. I know transfers aren’t an option on SoD, but it’s at least something to give a shot to.

Fair warning. You will likely get a templated response with links to try and solve the issue yourself. This is perfectly normal. They want folks who have an issue that can be solved without GM interference to not have to wait on ticket times. But for you, there will be an option to the tune of “I still need help.” Hit that button and it kicks it back into the queue for a GM to look into things. And also, pay no mind to whatever turnaround time estimation that will display itself in-game. That is not your specific ticket response time, just one that is based on the oldest ticket in the system. I do believe I’ve seen that pretty much everything is being responded to in a day or less right now? But at least you can get your spot in line while other troubleshooting can take place.
