Unable to add new credit card to Blizzard Account FIX (What worked for me!)

Just for anyone one else having this issue, I had it tonight and did all the suggested fixes but nothing helped. I had to update my credit card info but couldn’t get beyond the loading sign for adding my new one. I deleted my old credit card, did all the suggestions of deleting my browsing history and cookies and such, allowed ad blockers and all that but nothing worked. I finally went to my Games and Subscriptions tab, and since my old credit card was deleted, just added a subscription to my account. It worked like a charm and I was able to pay with my new credit card which was marked as my default payment method automatically!! Hope that helps any of you that might have the same issue!

Thanks for sharing your experience Darielyia. Hopefully it’ll prove helpful if anyone encounters a similar issue.

I am SO glad I found this thread. This was literally the only thing that worked for me. Nothing else I was doing got me past entering my address… it simply kept freezing up. It does suck that I had to purchase additional time before my subscription warranted it, but it’ll be added to the time I already had, so no big deal there.

There is one factor I’d like to add, and it could be a browser issue. I use Firefox exclusively, could this be part of the problem?

Not sure if that’s an issue or not because I use Chrome! Glad it worked for you! My subscription had expired so I didn’t have to fool with additional subscription time!

How is this still an issue after more than a month? I have followed all steps and am unable to to add a credit card.

Primarily because it isn’t necessarily an issue with the site but often something on the users end, temporarily or not, that is blocking the process.

If you have specifics that allow our staff to reproduce what is happening, please submit a bug report.
