UI Object Scaling is Painful!

Is there a way to reduce the scale of the objects on the screen??? Is the UI bad on big screens or do I have farsightedness!?

I have been getting headaches playing Wotlk, so I started messing around with the UI and graphics.

I have a 3440x1440 monitor and noticed all the objects on my screen are huge. The text boxes are huge. The character portrait is huge. The map is huge. Action bars are huge. Name plates make me sick. Everything is like putting my face 4inches from a book.

Compared it to retail, everything is double the size or more. I dont think this was an issue when I was playing on a 22 inch monitor in 2008. Or I might be getting older with bum eyes

I’ve downloaded Bartender and Plater addons to help but can only do so much.

Everything in the Wrath update seems tiny to me…so idk.

Sadly it doesn’t appear MoveAnything has been updated for Wrath Classic… we need a new addon to replace this.

Try MoveandImprove

Surprised you can see anything on a 3440x1440 resolution if the UI isn’t scaled up. You must be a terrible player if you want everything to look tiny and unreadable.

Probably one of the dumbest posts I have ever read on the forums ROFL. Wow bro. You have to be 13 at most.

Thank you for the laugh. Cheers

ElvUi is working for Wrath classic. If you’re up for a complete UI overhaul.

You can change the scale of the whole UI in the settings. I found the default to be much larger than I was used to in Retail so I lowered it.

It’s a legitimate complaint running a 17 year old game on a high resolution monitor. No user scaling makes the ui elements extra small and tucked away to the corners of the screen, turning it on makes it stretched and ugly on a huge widescreen monitor.

Every other mmo like swtor gives us the options to move and scale any element, something we can only do with addons in this game.
