One of the reasons that I stayed with WoW for years, was the simplicity and appeal of it’s UI. Now it looks like The Wheel of Fortune. I like in game puzzles, but not on my interface.
seriously?

To be honest, this new UI is awesome.
I don’t need to use the add on Bartender anymore, as this can be setup exactly how I had it with Bartender.
All I can say is, spend some serious concentration on adjusting it to your preferred reflection of how you use the buttons.
It’s awesome
lets out a long drawn out sigh
All I can say is spend some serious time concentrating and reading and you will see that no, in current version there is no way for those like me to simply “adjust it to our preferred reflection”.
Once again, the issue is not about where the UI elements are - if that’s what defines the new UI vs the old… then I’ve been playing with the modern UI for years already as I’ve been having the player frame and target frame more centralized closer to the middle
The issue is we were led to believe we would have a classic option, but we were not given a classic option. A classic option would include the texture, the art, the look of the player frame, target frame, minimap, gryphons etc.
But it’s not just something you or any one person can throw the hammer down and say “This isn’t a REAL problem for you, get over it, just do X, just do Y, it’s CLOSE enough”. That’s not what they wanted, or asked for.
And to anyone who wants to come and reply that it’s a non issue, that there’s no point in posting about it, or “here, use this set up from wowhead and you got your classic look”…
For some of us, the new look vs the old is an issue, I’m happy it’s not for you. Guess what, these forums is the place to post about it, as we’ve seen in the past it’s not pointless - they do listen! Look at void elf skin color and hair color options, look at flying in WoD - there’s so many examples of people expressing their dislike or wish for a change in constructive ways being listened to by blizzard.
And one more time for the ones in the back: no, moving the UI elements is not the issue. The wowhead link with copyable string for simply moving the UI elements is not the fix being asked for.
Hyperbole much.
