Uhm, why is Cata barely keeping up with SoD raiding numbers?

No theres not. You can live completely tax free

No one that lives a life that makes it possible to stop paying taxes and hates paying taxes pays them anyway. People who pay taxes and hate it only do so because of enforcement and punishment.

Probably too late to this, but the vast majority of players are not raiding in their alts yet. SOD’s current tier is established and takes 30 minutes to clear.

I was and we didnt. You people like drama and will go out of your way to complain about anything and everything anytime you can. Anytime someone begins a comment with lol…it means they are nervous. K? It’s a little girly thing to type. People only complained about no RDF and the Wrath prelaunch event.

Oh yea and for the Wrath prelaunch event…all those of you who said you were unsubbing from WoW because of it and were never coming back to play Classic ever again and your subs ran out in a few hours…why are you all still here? If you all HATE the game so much, why are you still playing.

You definitely weren’t

The hell does this even mean?

I’m literally one of the people that started actually playing Classic thanks to Wrath

Cool. I STARTED playing Classic when it first came out at level 60 version. I got the prelaunch achieves and other FoTS that you can no longer get from Wrath. And got the level 60 BG titles so yea I was there. Stop making up lies about where I was and where I wasn’t.

You claimed that there weren’t this many complaints going into Wrath. So either you weren’t there, or you’re lying. Either way, not a good look

Only about no RDF and the prelaunch. The complaints now are about Cata content. That is different.

And to answer OP post. People don’t want to post wipes or total failed raids. Cata has a lot more of those than SoD does, so it makes it look like Cata is doing worse when it actually isn’t.

I agree the change to satchels isn’t helping.

It’s a major overcorrection from wrath. Sure, in wrath I was swimming in mana/health pots to a ridiculous level. Other than for skillups I certainly never crafted any, and that was a small issue.

But in cata there’s no incentive to keep queueing once I’m valor capped, and even with my own alchs to craft, it feels like mana pots aren’t common enough imo.

New totals are out and Cata is almost 3x the players.

Thats also only for 5 days worth of raiding, i imagine next week will be higher since people who are tues/wed will have logs.

SoD is now down to 61k players, from a high of 496k. It’s taken 6 months for the population to tank 88%, and people want to say cata losing 25% (12m to 9.1) was the death of wow.

Because the audience that wanted classic didn’t want cataclysm. For a good number of them even wrath was the beginning of the end.

This shocks absolutely nobody who has been part of the classic community pre-2019. This is exactly what we told you would happen.

sod 61k and cata 210k, 29%, this is with cata losing tuesday and wednesday in its first week too, next week it could be 20%

You know it only takes one example of the opposite to shut down your claim yeah? Even given the number of people playing Classic Cata kinda tanks your point.

I wanted Classic, I also wanted Cata.

The word your looking for is “some”. as in:
“Some of the audience that wanted classic didn’t want cataclysm. Some of them even left in wrath.”

It doesn’t, lol. The numbers speak for themselves, compare cata to the numbers of every other classic iteration. Cata is by far the least played. Vanilla fans didn’t want cata, you cherry picking an individual and ignoring aggregates doesn’t disprove that lmao. Cata also has more retail players, retail players financially do not matter to classic, unless they made cata a separate sub from retail, because they’d be paying blizzard either way.

Cata is also the newest. You are taking data from a game relaunch and comparing it to other games that have been around much longer, you also are getting info from non-official sources like raid log sites. Which for Cata are lower as they should be for raid engagement.
You are using data wrong.

I am a vanilla fan and I did want cata. cope. No true scotsman isn’t a good fallacy to push.

You sub for classic, you sub to retail by default. Must surprise you that most people likely play more than one version of the game.

you’re falsely using data. Who is cherry picking what now? Hopefully you’ve learned to read a graph since last you decided to be incorrect in public.

Era
HC
SoD
Cata
DF
All the same sub. All the same basic subscription metric. classic matters the exact same.

Gonna support this in any way? just more speculation based on feelings is what I expect to get back from you. Jingoism is bad, but being this jingoistic about a video game variant is even more sad.

The new numbers don’t even have the non loggers.

I don’t do rated yet. I have a grobb char who might be 85 Friday night I chip away xp on. I play but don’t report anything. I’d gather a few players are like that.

The only slow content is see is non 85 wg runs. My grobb leveler can see 25 on 25 matches. Or around that.

At 85 it picks up, this char sees full houses. For leveling chars it’s probably people like me going even crap honor…is honor at ding to get a chest and small item 2 minutes after the ding. The weekly wg quests do help.
