Is any other UH DK having problems with ret war or ww/war? Most comps I am able to survive, but those three classes eat me alive. Is there a build I can run to help with these comps? I ply UH TSG and having a war helps, but I still get smashed vs certain cleaves.
Any advice is appreciated.
Play big zone duel and I think unleash is pretty good you really just gotta react hard to their cooldowns.
Against any other cleave besides ret necro war that goes DK you’re going to want to keep chains up and know when to avoid damage and when to deal it like watching a good enhance shaman. This is a lot easier now that our damage shifted to Vp/deathcoil. You can deadzone melee pretty well during their attempt and then be present for yours.
You have to work with your team tho. I prefer to have intervene during the sharpen and then working with my team on is it IBF or is it ascendence ECT and being really smart with AMS. A good AMS can/should completely stop an attempt if you immune the right things.
Play to unholys strength. High DPS the entire game be hard to lock down and use your disruption to it’s max potential and you can get the melee cleaves playing defensive until they lose 
WW is just brutal all around. But Rextroy recently released a video explains ilvl scaling in PvP. The higher your ilvl the more physical damage you take compared to the ilvl of your opponent. So higher you get melee fleeces just eat you more and more. They’ll have more vers and the scaling will cause you to take more damage.
Kind of a not simple concept right because your vers also increases which is damage reduction + death strike healing. Ontop of that is what is the value of stamina and armor comparatively because if your armor goes down your stamina is going up. Unholy dk gets 10% more stamina from a passive.
Definitely don’t take that video as “wear lower ilvl set vs cleaves”

Right just wanna clarify. And on another note unholy dk is supposed to be bad into melee cleaves and I don’t think it would be good for the overall game if they weren’t as it’s a niche anti caster pick and if it’s breezing by warrior cleaves then it’s absurdly overtuned
I don’t play unholy often just wanted to note why he might be struggling against melee cleaves as I remembered the Rextroy video, just another bad blizz system.
Usually we do good into most things besides ww/war. We started beating ret/war. I tried rune if spell warding talent and it seemed to help with ret damage. Not totally sure though haha.
I been running a few different talent setups too. The biggest thing is for me to hold runic power on their go so I have a couple DS. Thanks for your advice btw!
Big zone is really not worth it into some ret teams you just need to out pressure the other cleave which won’t be doable with big zone.
I only play big zone into certain double casters and ret wars/rmp
If the ww war is not running maledict you should save AMS for spear and then deaths advance for the monks dam (make sure you play the deaths advance conduit) if they are kyrian ofc
I swear to God I’ve been saying this all season but nobody believes me so I’ve just been taking it. Gonna try aura/strang next time

You drop necro aura for big zone/sim but yea that looks good.
How much haste do you have?
I am at 14% and 29% mastery. I think vers is 32%. My gear is still bad because I just got to 60 2 weeks ago.
