Uh Kael'thas voice actor replaced?

Personifying a slab of rock to have a gender without personifying the god damned slab of rock to barely look human. My generation in a nutshell.

Meh, it’s alright

His voice is similar enough, and he can act decently.
Of course people are going to be angry that they replaced him after such a long time.

The only downside to this is that this actor is a bit more “cartoony”.

Blizzard is very trigger happy with VA replacements. I mean… look at friggin Illidan. His original VA was a thousand times better.

have to be honest, i play with sound off. had no idea wat that guy sounded like till 2day lulz

it also helped him when folks found evidence about his GF and how it was a problem.

Amazing how this escapes people, more so these days. It’s quite telling of the times we live in.

when you have incidents like Jimmy Saville and that one guy, defending them would make it worse

I’m getting so tired of this excuse. “Corporations can trample their customers because it’s their company.” What BS.

Activision is a publicly traded company that is beholden to their investors. The investors want to see profit. Profit comes from producing a product the customer wants to have. WE are the customer. If we hate it then they don’t get our money, that’s how a for profit company works. WE get a say because if we don’t like it they they don’t profit and if they don’t profit, their investors move their cash somewhere else and Bobby won’t get next years bonus.

I don’t care how big the corporation is, if they don’t listen to their customers then they are losing money.

The more Activision/Blizzard ignores these sorts of things, the more they pile up until Warcraft ends up a steaming pile of garbage that no one wants and no investor can make money on.

vic mignogna had this happen to him.

Bro it literally sounds the exact same I have no idea what you are talking about.

With that said Buechler is still a jackass at times as he likes nothing. That includes things he supports.

“we” didn’t cancel the original VA, it was Blizzard’s decision.

You are correct, you get a say in that, you decide if you’re going to give them your money or not.

but that’s where it ends. You (or I) being a paying customer doesn’t mean we have a direct line to the devs to influence decisions. that would be ridiculous.

So, either continue to support them or not.

it’s a voice actor change. it’s not a big deal.

New voice actor is pretty bad. Doesn’t sound like Kael’thas at all.

They clearly didn’t put any effort into this and it was a rushed job, and it shows.

wasn’t it revealed he’s been like this for years and that the only reason he was able to get away with it was thanks to having powerful connections and a literal fan-cult devoted to him?

Carhagen likes The High Republic and is a fan of Geode, that’s all you really need to know thus he isn’t even worth responding to.

No, it was proven that most all the evidence was faked and the only reason they got away with accusations against Vic was because he was a celebrity and absurd laws that give immunity to slander and libel against celebrities.

None of what you just said has anything to do with the hiring and firing of Voice Actors.

And since Activision-Blizzard has no say in the creative process at Blizzard Entertainment (something Blizzard themselves have repeated multiple times) they are the only ones who get to make the call as to who they employ to do their character voices.

Clearly they DO NOT want to employ someone who is currently being accused of sexual harassment/grooming of minors. I wouldn’t want to either, just to be on the safe side.

If the allegations are true, Blizzard has dodged a serious bullet by disassociating themselves with someone who has committed serious offenses (especially in regards to the grooming of minors accusations). If the allegations are false? He’ll be vindicated and find work elsewhere. It’s not like he’s out of pocket since he already got paid for the voice lines he did for Kael’thas prior to all this happening.

I literally told you and others that I haven’t read the High Republic, so I can’t ‘like’ something I haven’t read. So, yeah, keep parroting that lie if it helps you sleep better, since I already slammed your arguments that you threw out into the trash where they belong.
