Uh Kael'thas voice actor replaced?

You know, I think this thread hits the record for ‘most people ignored in 10 minutes’.

Suddenly this thread is a much better place.

Let me guess , “they were just ASKING for it?”

You know while we’re Just Asking Questions.

How to say “I’m weak” without saying it.

Why would you take what Lilus said as an actual accusation? Lilus even stated:

The entire post was basically an allegory for what can randomly be said without proof simply to try to slander an individual. It was never meant to be taken as an actual accusation.

So now we are offended by a line in a video game, as well?

It very much will be when you stop acting as if you are superior to others.

I was referring to people like you chief. I’m not sure we’re on the same page here.

Fitting that you’re playing a paladin. Did you come rushing in on your white horse chief?

So, let me ask you something: if no one deserves that treatment, then what about Quinton? What about Vic? Johnny? What about the times where it was proven years after the fact that someone lied about this stuff? In some of those cases, the accused wound up in prison for a crime they never did. What do we do then? Just give them a pat on the back and a “We’re really sorry we locked you up for all those years?”

If “no one deserves this BS” then how about we start by letting the courts do their damn jobs and not run around claiming someone is guilty of a crime before it’s even gone to a criminal trial?

That would be the adult thing to do, but the problem is Woke America thinks they’ll get some kind of brownie points for jumping on the bandwagon and using Cancel Culture as a weapon to deplatform people they just don’t like.

I grew up wondering how crap like the Salem Witch Trials could have logically even happened. The last few years taught me how more than any history class on the subject.

I’m going to leave it there, because if don’t, then I’m really going to commit some real ToS violations with what I want to say to people like you, Shimaala, anyone that supports getting rid of Quinton, anyone that’s been involved with Kick Vic the last few years, and frankly anyone that’s looked at Cancel Culture, thought it was fine, then proceeded to defend it.

They wanted to seize property that women owned and used religious framing for it.

“They put a target on their head” is the exact same logical thought pattern as “they were asking for it”

I fear it will only get worse over time, as well.

That doth not matter.
What matters is that people bought it despite lacking actual evidence, which hither quite applies. Insofar as I know of the trials, of course; I haven’t invested much research into them.

So the Evil Kenievel jump were making here is that you opened yourself up to others giving their opinion by posting in a public forum and people getting sexualy harassed are the same thing. Maybe I don’t understand. Its late.

Pretty sure it was more to do with the methods proving their innocence got them murdered.

No real reason to be afraid unless you’re a moderately successful man who violates boundaries.

People sure do seem to miss why it was called “MeToo” to begin with.

As now 'tis the accusations levied.

I’m guessing satire and sarcasm isn’t their strong point when it comes to trying to use either to point out the flaws in certain things.

Maybe I should have used flash cards?

In any case, I hope they at least saw the irony of getting mad as me for “accusing” someone of assault, otherwise the hypocrisy is going to be off the damn charts.

I mean was there a conviction or is it still pending?

Formally? Dunno. But this is usually how things get rolling.

If it follows the usual pattern it’ll be they lay low for 6 months before quietly just going back to doing what they were doing.

Something tangible must’ve came around otherwise Blizz wouldn’t have acted.

Probably inside info we’re not aware of, or it could just be an over-reaction in this day of age you can’t be too careful I suppose.

Which is ashame, since the voice acting was good and the new stuff is kinda shlocky.

It’s obvious they tweeted his workplace, that’s what happen with Swifty as well.

Well, if we’re talking about Vic, that was a civil trial where he sued for defamation. That case is far too involved to go into a deep dive, but the short version of how that went is this: the judge assigned to the case has a very bad history of failing to look at/accept evidence and pretty much threw it out. All the people that started the Kick Vic nonsense have been doing victory laps for a year and a half saying that because of this he’s now a registered sex offender, despite the fact that this was not a criminal case (it was a civil case) and Vic wasn’t the defendant. Judge in question actually has the highest turnover rate on the county court of appeals. I forget the exact number, but it was something ridiculous, I want to say in excess of 65% or so. Also happened in what was a local election year for the guy in any area of Texas that’s turning blue, so there is speculation that he might have had an ulterior motive for wanting to throw out a defamation suit that was challenging a MeToo claim. Vic’s case is still awaiting appeal.

If we’re talking about Quinton, to my knowledge there are no criminal claims/complaints against him. He hasn’t been arrested regarding any claims, nor has he tried to sue anyone for defamation himself. Ergo, there is absolutely no conviction, nor is there a case pending.

Yup, according to the article Shimaala linked there were screenshots of text messages send between Flynn and the victims. Can’t see them now, since the account that posted them has been set to private, but I’d wager all those tweets are still there for those who can get access.
