Ugly Male Characters

See, I’m into more of a rugged “masculine” look and the closest I get to that is Kul Tiran. No races on the horde do it for me

I dunno. Human males always had a few decent hairstyles, and got a few more with the customization pass. I was able to make one of my humans look younger than the 50+ something he used to look once they added the new options:

Oh you can definitely make a young dude for sure but the options are just not great imo.

This is probably the best I can do

Hey, out of curiosity… why do you want to play something that looks almost human? I like the more different they are, it’s just cool to play as something else.

My mommy says I’m very handsome.

im not ugly :frowning:

It’s fine that there are craggy weathered-looking faces. There should still be options besides craggy weathered-looking faces, though.

I like that model; I’ve got a priest and a monk. But if there were still face options that weren’t craggy and crabby, I’d like it better.

When they changed the models in Wod ,lord have those were so ulgy with this mage I look like a trogg. Rushed back because I was so embarrassed I couldn’t stand it. This was the result .Not a pretty boy nor that grungy fellow. :pensive:

Less clipping.

I mean, Belfs and Velfs have attractive guys. And you’d be surprised how many ladies love troll dudes and orc daddies, too.

They do need to fix Night Elf males pretty badly though. Supposed to be a rugged-but-still-elves wild feral sort of attractive, and instead we get gorilla arms and hands four times the size of their face.

I have to say… Playing humans most of the time… I find a few … quirks for them… that could be altered… THE ARMS. THE HANDS> making them dragging their knuckles with gorilla arms? Really? now… Granted WoW has a NICHE style of characters. You take ONE look at an image and immediately “Oh that’s WoW” Which is GOOD in some cases. Makes the game Very distinguishable and unique, yes!

However this… is… 2023 and Body sliders ARE a thing… I’d love to make super skinny models. or even super BULKY models. Both male AND female. Wow’s already got the models for these… Why not allow the playerbase to have fun with it too?

A lot of the male models have this issue. Nelfs, Draenei, Humans especially. I think it’s fine for orcs and Tauren who are supposed to be MASSIVE, but it looks derpy AF on many of the other races.

Draenei have been described as looking tall and lanky from an orc’s perspective, but big and imposing from a human’s. As such: them being big actually fits; if anything, the fem model being that willowy is the issue.

I don’t play fantasy game to get slapped with harsh reality.

Draenei were only made big because the Alliance at that time didn’t have any ‘‘big’’ race. It seemed like a good artistic choice for Blizz at that time. Personally I feel they missed a good opportunity to make a tall, muscular/fit and attractive race.

Human characters in general are really ugly in this game. The vanilla models actually looked quite good. I have a pally that’s been around since the vanilla days and I’d love to level her to 70 but after the graphics and models updates, her look has drastically changed. To the point I may have to race change her if I want to play her.

And I absolutely agree about making both male and female characters sexy as hell. It’s a fantasy! And not realistic fantasy. It’s over the top fantasy. So just own it. Objectify everyone equally!

Plus the weird facial expressions fem humans have during combat. But yeah, they look so awkward after the WOD update. I wish we could’ve gotten something more like the Kyrian skeleton, at least.

I honestly find the men very attractive outside of some races of course like gnomes or goblins.

Humans and all the elves are pretty dang good looking, but if you like looking at women it seems obvious you’d prefer that.

This isn’t sexism I think it may just be personal taste.
