The problem is how the mechanics of these white balls work. Because if there’s a mob right inside, they die instantly. But if it’s only slightly off, it won’t get hurt. But luckely, her autohits are enough to make 75%/mobhealth basedmg of a singlemob. Even with the buggy Abilitys.
Yesterday I watched a video with a shadow priest who did this, he dot a mob, Tyrande had four mobs down, in the same time.
Wild gods, and select individuals as Loa. She’s not going to have the power to revive every single night elf soul over the wild gods she’s allowed to die.
Withpuppys linked gameplay that uses the voice overs:
It’s is a Maw mob pretending to be Tyrande.
Though killing the Night Elf soul amalgamation is tragic and sad, and probably what Blizzard is going for, I would prefer for the amalgamation to simply fall apart so the souls made of it can be saved along with all the other souls that the Night Fae player saves after.
I am looking forward to being forced to take the covenant ability I like least for pve, and then having to follow the story of the character I want nothing to do with on top of that.
I know the feeling I mained a monk in legion and their campaign was basically a whimsical children stories about XDXDXDX MAGIC BEER which reminds me of a Certain video I made like in 2012 about a Certain Argent dawn RP campaign about using the alliance using Magic beer to win the favour.
Definitely agreed. I did… Paladin, Priest, DK, Mage, and Monk, I think, and Monk was the weakest of the stories by far.
The overarching point I’m trying to make here (to kind of cut down on too much game mechanics PvE complaining) is that by tying stories to Covenants but also powerful PvE mechanics to Covenants, there’s a very good chance that it’s not going to be “Pick the Covenant you want” like they keep trying to say, but “pick the best throughput increase for your class”. If you don’t care at all about PvE, good on you, but I imagine a lot of people care at least a little bit.
Well if Tyrande redirects all the (misdirected) power flowing into The Maw into Ardenweald instead…Weakening the Jailor right around time for the raid…The Winter Queen would need to do something with the excess power until power flows were recalibrated correctly…
Every time I see you say WQ I read it as World Quest. And for a split second I am like “Elune is giving birth to female world quests? ” before I remember you mean the Winter Queen.
They should have just made the abilities into 2 talent rows tbh. it would solve sooo much.
Tbh lets say you play a druid or a pala, maybe you want to get an ability the other covenants have for that spec or something else. Maybe you want to tank a mythic dungeon or something. Oh wait you cant get that Divine toll ability for your prot pala even though you like the hammer of maldraxxus
Alternatively maybe you like Divine toll but dont like the kyrian cult.
You’ll still be able to tank Mythic+ Dungeons without another covenant’s ability.
That was Ferlion’s point. The vast majority of the playerbase does not actually benefit from min-maxing schemes when their playstyle will far outweigh or even cut any gains that simulators would propose would exist.
