calling it part 2: Elune is the Winter Queenā€™s Mother, and the WQ is the WoW-Persephone, stolen by the Jailer, and the Dreams are from Elune because Ysera is tied to what is actually her realm (The Dream, before the Titans tried to Order it) and Shandris vis-a-vis her adoption by Tyrande, her Champion/Avatar

Well Iā€™m just glad itā€™s Night Fae based so I never have to pretend like any of my Horde characters care about Tyrande and the nelves or ā€œatoningā€ for their ā€œcrimesā€ in the slightest.

Now Iā€™ll be able to just mesh souls together into horrid abominable masses of flesh or something and not be bothered by any of this. Hopefully.

I mean too late, the Venthyr covenant questline is tied to the Maldraxxus plot, and I imagine the theme will continue.

Hell, Iā€™d wager before Tyrande saves Ardenweald, she might be forced by Shandris to be sent to Revendreth and have her Night Warrior magic purged. Have a feeling. Maybe Bastion for some Temple of Purity therapy.

No thatā€™s when you go to Maldraxxus during leveling, during the Venthyr Joining Covenant Questline, you later go to Maldraxxus because Sire Denathrius gave Kelā€™thuzzad in the House of Rituals the Medallion of Domination sometime during your time leveling in Revendreth

The ending line is the first line you hear when doing the quest with Shandris, I think thatā€™s just a vision when you get to the Maw because that appears then you fight some monsters and then you find Tyrande after that.

Oh man Iā€™m going to enjoy this so much. Now theyā€™re bringing up Shandris.

I think Iā€™ll have my Nightborne Priest go through this then. I like to headcanon that she still believes in Elune even if itā€™s not confirmed canon.

God if at least half of my predictions turn out correct Iā€™m gonna be smug as hell:

  • WQ is Eluneā€™s Daughter, born in the Dream
  • WQ was stolen by the Jailer a la Persephone
  • Night Warrior was created from Eluneā€™s rage at this to keep her daughter company
  • Teldrassil will be used to heal the Winter Queen
  • Teldrassil and all the Night Elves will be rezā€™d
  • WQ will be implied to have had a fling with Bwonsamdi
