Tyrande isn't crazy

Not true. Nordrassil doesn’t have the bronze blessing too, all that blessing did was giving immortality. And the world trees don’t attract corruption, they bring it to the surface. They are important to make a connection to Azeroth’s dream, that is their most important function. You can see that happening in the first nelf quests. After malf cleansed the dream in the novel stormrage, some lingering corruption still resisted in the tree, and it was brought to the surface so it could be seen and cleansed. Without the trees the void corruption would probably continue undetected until it totally took over Azeroth’s soul, because it wouldn’t have been detected by Teldrasil neither by that other one in valshara…

When we marched through Ashenvale and got the orders to kill all on site even civilians I had no problem Death is what we Death Knights do best.

When the tree got burned I had some items to make smores in my pack so you know I roasted them Marsh mellows.

If I had been given the option to advance into the Night Elf capital and put them out of their misery I would have refused cause the screams were so much a reward.

They must keep warmode, there is a positive outcome by keeping it for ever now =)

It was cleansed of corruption.

More like what beginning did I want. Every action we took was out of place and unjustified. It felt forced in order to stir another BS faction war. We didn’t want another civil war. We didn’t want to randomly launch another war without reason, we didn’t want another one of our longest known heroes to go away. We are tired of there being zero stability and the devs wanting to pull our identity in 5 different directions every other expansion. It was all horrible.

So what end did I want? Whatever end that would make the last year+ of story not happen

I think she will be Illidan’d. An actual anti-hero, unlike Sylvanas who had been Arthas’d and is just a villain.

we assume, it is the blessing of time…that blessing may very well have kept it in a safe/strong stage

yes they do, they’re active targets of the old gods…the things responsible for the corrution

you assume that’s a good thing.
the dream is azeroth as it is meant to be, us playing in it may be doing more harm than good

when one fixes the underlying infection, the puss comes out

that doesn’t really make sense, the first tree the kaldorei planted was corrupted as quickly as it could be.
it’s not a matter of detection, if the goal was to go undetected they’d corrupt the trees last, not actively go after them and tip their hat

the old gods aren’t morons, they’re beings that have played the long con for a very…very long time

The first tree was Nordrassil, planted on the second well of eternity, and is still there today. I guess the corrupted one you are referring to is vordrasil, the one in northrend. That one yes, was corrupted because it didn’t had the dragon blessings.
They act as antibodies for the planet’s soul, it makes every sense they would attack the thing that can blow up their whole plan first.

She isn’t crazy but I think Blizzard is setting her up for going a step too far and both factions having to unite to stop her. The Alliance wouldn’t go after her if she refuses the peace and continues to fight. But if she nuked a major city, then they would step in. Her actions and mental state are pretty much unknown at this point, at best we get passing comments about her.

my bad, second, andrisill i think? the one in northrend

except it doesn’t, even with the trees as malfurion stated multiple times…the corruption is spreading

and we went out of our way to get the branch of the actual world tree and not some wannabes because the power would be used by the old gods,

it was, but we don’t really know which blessings helped it, or even how long the blessings will last now that the aspects are powerless

besides didn’t chronicles state that it was the world trees that caused the corruption in the first place?
that the tree piercing the prison allowed the emerald nightmare to become a thing

And does anyone want it?
Whereas you cannot erase what happened.
This expansion is made to remove Sylvanas from within the Horde.

I just wanted the Alliance to act accordingly to what she did.

I wanted to see the lion showing the Claws and fangs?

What did i get?

a cat.

No… Chronicle doesn’t say that. What they state is that the trees are both a gateway to the Dream and a way to help it develop well and healthy… The problem began with Xavius, he is the responsible for the corruption.

Again, you are thinking about Andrassil/renamed Vordrassil. It was planted to keep the saronite from spreading in northrend, but it didn’t had the blessings so it was corrupted, reached yogg saron’s prison and it was destroyed by the druids.

i decided to reread the section on the tree…
yeah, the emerald nightmare is directly caused by the trees

and because it was planted without those blessings (that may or may not weaken now that the aspects are gone) we have the emerald nightmare

they’re not antibodies, they’re the things that help it spread the best

Yogg-Saron had used the trees planted by fandral as a doorway into the dream, a doorway through which the other old gods could grasp the ethereal domain as well. small seeds of corruption were spread throughout ysera’s realm. in time, these seeds pollinated the dreamways. this marked the beginning of what would become known as the Emerald Nightmare

sorry…transcribing/typing isn’t something i’m skilled in

so…yeah the world trees shouldn’t have been planted in the first place, even with the aspects blessing they weren’t actually required for anything

maybe the first one, but that was less the elves and more the aspects doing

I’m getting tired of saying that but, AGAIN, this is Vordassil, which is NOT the first tree. And yes, it gave entrance to the emerald dream to the old gods, but only because it was not a full blessed tree. That tree was orchestrated by xavius, that convinced Fandral that he should plant the tree there to stop the spread of saronite, thusmaking Xavius the orchestrator behind the emerald nightmare. Before vordrassil, Nordrassil resisted for ages, fulfilling its function of keeping the dream safe and well. If you don’t believe me, maybe beyond chronicle you could check some in game quests on that and the expanded universe in the novels The Sundering and Stormrage.

Nordrassil was the first planted tree, but Shaladrassil, the one in valshara, is so old that we don’t know who planted, simply that it was always there, so we actually don’t even know if the world could survive whithout a world tree

Besides, druids managed to destroy the corrupt tree whithout killing an entire race

Pardon the lore, but something something, wasn’t it like, one of the wells of eternity was linked to the Elve’s eternal life, and the other was something something life of azeroth? Does killing the tree kill everyone, or just… kill the island?

the first tree wasn’t planted by the elves though, the first tree they planted WAS Vordassil

Alexstrasza planted nordassil

yes, it’s also fully blessed and drawing upon the power of the well of eternity constantly

it’s fighting corruption by quite literally feeding off the blood of azeroth

but not by the elves, it was planted by those who’s job was to safeguard azeroth and the dream.
the kaldorei disregarded all of that and planted multiple trees, some were rogue agents, others were not.

we actually don’t know what’s going on with that, nordrassil is always referred to as the first

yeah…because they planted the thing
and in doing so how many have they slaughtered for falling to the corruption that they caused?

The first one was linked to the immortality, the other is the one that we have. We have no way of being sure what would happen, but evidence suggests that nordrassil is essential for the life on azeroth

Jesus christ, it wasn’t. Please read the novel.

Fandral did it

Quests on valshara states that shaladrassil is older
