Tyrande and Horde [Night Fae Spoiler]

Good luck getting out of the maw then

Yeah, but the story has been worse than ever, which increases the desire to be in control.

I don’t think she really cares if she gets out. Everything she wants to do is in the Maw.

I went Venthyr. There’s no oppressive Alliance bullspit telling you how horrible you are for being Horde.

Same.

Question. Are Eternal Ones in-fact eternal? Like, can the Primus and Sure Danathrius not die. Was thinking maybe she could try having the Jailer killed. But I guess if that was possible, they need not lock him up.

/hi5 fellow Venthyr bud

Yup, they´re great even if Flagellation is underwhelming (at least for my class-spec combo)

I’d rather not be there in the first place… because the most logical thing for her to do would be to kill us. The fact shes letting us help her when shes more than capable of doing it herself is just bad writing.

It should have been split, horde working for bwon and alliance working for tyrande.

The game absolutely suffers when we are told we are bad guys… we become bad guys… then we play sidekick to the people we victimized just to be told we are bad guys again. Like what’s even the message here?

On paper, I wouldn’t even mind that (assuming it wasn’t attached to a damn genocide of all things) but this is effectively a road already traveled in Legion with the same character, and BFA rather effectively pushed the notion that these olive branch actions are never going to stick or amount to anything. So it just comes off as another precursor to whatever expansion’s going to come after Shadowlands to muck it all up again.

At least It is clear as eater that whining happens on both sides.

They probably didn’t have the resources to make 2 different nightfae campaigns, and Teldrassil needed to be addressed.

I didn’t mind going shopping with thrall left and right, or rescuing bane. And I’m not mad that there is an entire questline and zone worth of dozens of hours of building the suramar campaign for them to become horde.

My character wasen’t present during Legion/ the beginning of BfA, at all. In fact, she didn’t even join the Horde until after the battle for Dazar’alor. So hearing how she’s evil and crazy for ‘following’ Sylvanas burning the tree, really dosen’t make any sense for me

The only reason I went Night Fae is because of Bwonsamdi and Vol’jin

I feel like there’s a pretty severe tone difference between having to work with Thrall and Baine versus Tyrande, though. You can’t get righteously chastised for being a horrible person because your character…isn’t, really. At least nowhere near on the level of the horde player’s canon participation. And whenever Vol’jin’s stuff rolls around, it wouldn’t make sense if he was as vitriolic either. You haven’t victimized any of them.

The Nightborne stuff was just stupid though.

The message is that our entire faction has become an irrelevant plot device that takes every other expansion off. Then when blizzard needs a catalyst and someone to kick of a war they remember “Isn’t there a second faction in this game?” and bam here we come!

/shrug

I spent the entire last expansion with the knowledge that I’m Saurfang’s Gandalf at best and Krillin at worst.

You can handle Tyrande saying mean things for a quest line.

Saurfang’s story did nothing for the horde player either, he was just Vol’Jin2.0 brought up in the story and made more relevant to push Sylvanas’s horrid story forward.

We got to watch one of the poster boys of awesomeness on the horde turn into a emo little baby, only to go cry and hump Anduin’s leg and then die by the hands of our second evil raid tier Warchief. More or less recreating SoO in the process (just to a lesser extent).

Blizzard should’ve had the grit to let us finish the job if they’re going to chastise us for the rest of our subscription time with the game. Just mercilessly genocide the entire night elf race.

Then, at least, we’d factually be guilty of it instead of clearly not and being punished for it anyway.

So make more players unhappy rather than less?

Horde favoritism, obviously.

Did either of them repeatedly tell you what a horrible person you are and tell you they should just kill your worthless life? Cuz I don’t recall that part.

At least Anduin seems to think I’m pretty.

EDIT: I was gonna leave it there, but changed my mind because I did.

TBH, the Tyrande hating me bit was at most a mild annoyance. Same for Shandris. Shan seemed to turn her opinion around to un-hostile tolerance pretty quick, and we’ll have to wait to see how Tyra feels when she’s taken a minute to not be corrupted by the Night Warrior.

All told, this wasn’t nearly as annoying as it could have been.

The way some posters are you’d think we already did. I was told Night Elves no longer exist in the game.

Do you think blizz honestly cares all that much? They know we are all going to come back and play now and then regardless if we take breaks or what we think of the games state. The MMO market doesn’t have much competition in most people’s minds. WoW is like crack, we all know it’s probably bad for us and highly addictive but we don’t care.
