This is like the motorcycle event. Whoever was active when the contest ended got the mount. Now, if you are a Horde player, you cannot get the bike because of the contest. But, for 100k gold you can get the Alliance version right now.
I think it was a twenty-four month contract, wasn’t it? I remember a lot of people refused because they didn’t like Cata.
I remember in WotLK when the sparkle pony first went up, I am 99.99% sure it say while supplies last, or for a limited time. Then they decided later to just ‘resupply’ the store.
I was actually really unhappy about that.
Maybe that is petty, but I think that there should be limits to items otherwise there is no point in creating the uniqueness of them in the first place.

Lol yeah I understand that too. I went with the promotion because it was a limited time thing as well. Maybe it should have been a limited offer for the other countries as well instead of a permanent shop item? It just wouldn’t have to be because it wasn’t a promotion thing. People have been asking for this mount to go to the store since it’s come out lol
I wonder if many people bought it for that price.

As someone who also likes this mount and wishes I could have it, no. Exclusive items need to remain exclusive.

It was just a 12 month commitment. Promise to sub for a year, get a mount and Diablo 3 for free.
What’s funny is I was still really new to WoW and wasn’t sure if I’d stay subbed for a year so I didn’t go for it. But I totally stayed subbed for a year anyway, so I should have just done it.

It couldn’t be. Those countries didn’t allow that promotion at the time. Part of their laws. Which is why they got it as a shop item.
On the other side of that, China was allowed to have a promotion for Hogrus. We were able to buy it in the store later.
Different laws, different countries, etc.

This mount should NEVER be sold. it takes away from its rarity and prestige. Now I do feel we should be able to buy the Collectors edition pets/mounts. Those should be available to all. Any promo though, should not be. I think its stupid the dreadwalk is only 25.00, it should be the same cost as it was to buy 6months game time.

I bought six months of game time before the promotion ever was announced and they gave it to me anyway.
Specifically they said at the time it would be available right away to anyone who was using the 6 months and that they would sell it in the store later. So I’m fine with them doing exactly what they said they would do.

So does Korea and Taiwan get the promotion for a limited time like we did or is it on sale always? I’d say that makes a big difference. We only got the promo for less than a year.
They had no promotion. No limited time.
There was no way for someone in those regions to get the mount whatsoever. It was added to the store so they would have a way to get it.
It’s only for sale because it wasn’t used as a promotion there. If it had, it would also be limited and unattainable when the promotion ended.

Yea, that is our difference which goes to show how entitled you are that you’re even delusional. The bottom line is you accused Blizzard, Taiwan and Korea of being “unfair”. There is no doubt anything but negative intent is present. You ACCUSED a company. That is not an inquiry, that is not an attempt to gain information. I’m not a big fan of limited time things.
I’d much rather see items later listed on the in-game shop so there’s a way for those who want them to acquire them, and it also helps support the game.
Same for in-game items. I don’t like seeing the way to acquire something later removed. It’s not real fair for those who join up or come back later on.
It was from the Annual Pass. They gave items across a few games like they do with Collector’s Editions. Like preordering RoS for D3 got me the treasure goblin pet in WoW.

I used to have this mount on a previous account. Sadly my account had been hacked despite me having an authenticator attached to it and both the email and password had been changed. I lost more than I could ever put in this chat when that happened along with the Tyrael’s Charger mount. Upon contacting blizz with a new account in an attempt to get it back I was met with complete disbelief of me ever having the mount or even the account despite my proof of the account being mine, Screenshots and being able to recall information of the account. Blizz just shoved me aside and looked for others to ignore or screw over. I quit wow for a while then but eventually came back and decided to start wow all over on a new account.
