IMO that doesn’t sound entitled to me, I pushed it into the back of my mind, I didn’t care. Until I found that other regions might have an unfair advantage and the point of this post was to find out why which Varannis did a good job at explaining. If I were entitled, I would never have put the mount to the back of my mind nor accepted that it was time limited & I’d never get it. I think time limited items are cool, it makes things actually rare. The reason I made this, was because I saw it being sold. Which now I know why.

Cosmetic loot, but the situation in china is the lack of blood & edited undead models aren’t loot, they’re aesthetics required by law that people cant just pick up, it’s not some rare drop or event item like the Charger or Vanilla items. I LOVE Ashbringer, I LOVE those dual swords Darion has, but I know they’re time limited.

You pushed it to the back of your mind… until you saw other people getting it. Then you went on the forums to throw a jealous fit. Sounds like you have an attitude problem.

I pushed the limited time event mount to the back of my mind until I saw other people BUYING it to this day utilizing an advantage I viewed as unfair because its supposed to be limited time. SO I went to the forums to ask why claiming that it was unfair. I think the problem, your problem, is that you view everything as negatively and childishly as possible thus your responses being as condescending as they are. IMO You seem to be the one with the attitude problem, I’ve already received the answer to why the Charger mount is still being sold to which I called it a good answer, you have no actual proof other than your own toxic interpretation that I’m being jealous and whiney.

It was a promotional item here. Promotional items won’t/can’t come back. You won’t see the Horde special chopper come back for the same reason. Sorry you didn’t get it, but thems the breaks.

So, when you first found out that other people in other regions were able to buy the mount your first response wasn’t to:
a.) Do some basic research on how those regions work (it’s been pretty common knowledge that China and Korea’s subscriptions are different).
b.) Inquire on the forums about why it’s sold there but not here.

And instead your immediate response was
c.) This is unfair!

And again, I’m the childish one? Atttttttttiiiiiiiiitude problem.

Here’s a fun fact. I was subbed the entire time that offer was available, and I didn’t sign up to get it. I also bought the CE of the Diablo 3 game as well.

Blizzard changes their mind all of the time.

I remember when I unlocked flying > 10 years ago. Still can’t fly.

Or that time when flying was going to be removed altogether.

Or that ship mount for being suckered into buying 6 months of game time.

Or that water walking mount that was a pita to acquire.

I could honestly careless that you got suckered into shelling out money during one of the games worst content lulls. As opposed to the hours I wasted obtaining a mount that is being rendered useless now.

Isn’t that… literally what I’m doing right now? No, I didn’t do any research, I decided to come here and ask because I get fast results here. Yes, I called it unfair, because I didn’t yet understand the why. Then, somebody answered plainly and clearly why. Seems my method worked didn’t it? What would you suggest I google “Why is the Tyraels charger mount being sold in Taiwan and Korea and not in other countries?” because I’m pretty sure google isn’t advanced enough to answer a very specific question like that, but humans, the things that use Forums? They can, so I used them instead. And it worked, like it always does. My immediate response was “Why is it sold in Taiwan and Korea only if its a limited time mount? That seems unfair.” That you’re still going on attacking this stickman you made of me that you wish so much that I was, is more proof that you have an attitude problem than you have of me having one.

Changing their mind is not the same as changing legality. From what CMs have said in the past it’s a legal issue in California to sell past promotional items… they aren’t just being big meanie faces.

Lol no… inquiries don’t include demands and claims of things being unfair. That’s entitlement and an attitude problem. Anyways, off to work. We will continue this conversation later!

Difference between us is you see them as demands and i see them as suggestions. You read my entire message and question as if I had negative intent like the intention was to rally and riot at Blizzard headquarters, I’ve already told you however your interpretations are wrong. The problem is however you refuse to accept that you’re wrong & that’s where your attitude problem comes from.

It’s just how it is here because it was something offered through a promotion. If they weren’t offered the promotion and the mount was just made available to them in 2017 that would mean they had to wait like 6 years for their chance at it. Sorry you missed it :pensive:

They shouldn’t change their mind on this type of stuff.

You buy it when it’s offered or you miss out. If they go back on things like this the word ‘exclusive’ misses it’s entire meaning. If they start using that type tactic they have really gone to a new level of creepiness.

This really doesn’t seem as though it should be for sale. The Mount was offered as limited, so I’m not sure why it would be sold as a Shop Mount in other countries?

Maybe Hogrus (Because it’s the Year of the Pig) is limited in Chinese/ Tiawanese WoW shops?

Because it was not offered at all outside of this region. If the promotion had been worldwide, then that would have been different. It wasn’t though.

Like the false sense of urgency for the digital store items that were going away “temporarily”.

It is being offered in countries that did not receive the promotion. They literally had to wait for years for it to go in store and it comes at a higher price for nothing besides the mount when we received diablo 3 for free, early access to MoP and the mount with that promotion (paying the subscription for wow every month for a year) it was like a contract.

I collect limited edition copies of The Lord of the Rings; if I bought one, Australian made, golden etched, Alan Lee illustrated, a specific size and weight, stated as being Limited Edition, and then I found out the exact copy was sold in the US on shelves as unlimited editions, it would detract from my pleasure in the value of my copy.

I know a group of pixels in a game are not illustrated, limited edition copies of The Lord of the Rings, but the principle… the PRINCIPLE!

Yes, I remember, I have the mount.

Maybe the ‘Hand of Adal’ title can be sold in an Aussie WoW shop, I’d pay a pretty dollar for that one! :smiley:
