It’s easy to miss, what with it being a single tiny * in a sea of text, especially if one doesn’t read all the way to the end of the article. What’s puzzling is that the Blizzard Shop page does not mention that time limitation at all. Not sure if it’s an oversight or if Wowhead’s article is in error, but given the detail of the article I’m leaning toward oversight on the shop page.

It’s funny, I ran into this the other day.
We were farming one of the storms.
And in the old days, you just mount, the mount would “suddenly” appear beneath you, and folks would fly away (i.e. go straight up).
Now, the dragons sweep in behind you.
When there’s a bunch of folks, you feel like a pile of bird seed in a park being inundated with pigeons. It’s really busy and little distracting, but I think I’m mostly over it now.
And, yea, if it was a 12 month sub thing, I didn’t get it 
.
Hasn’t been updated graphics wise yet but I’m sure it will eventually.
this is lame buy hey less just think what other cool legacy items can we kill next!

I got my several years of use from the mount on my paladin. Let some other people have a go. They are pixiels, not priceless collectables.

Yeah know I have 590 mounts and of all those mounts there are only two I really love and use the most…my Magic Rooster Egg when grounded and my Love Rocket when I fly other then in DF…heck there is not another achievement for the 600 mount count either…they put in a 500 but not a 600…and yep got the charger got back when I agreed to stay subbed for 1 yr…regretted doing the Beta for MoP too…couldn’t play Diablo my computer wasn’t good enough to play it.
Oh no. So sad.
Too late, the chicken has flown the coop. Nothing is sacred in the game anymore and the FOMO crowd is being catered to

I’ll be honest… I’m salty about it… I want the original Gladiators mounts to be available on the shop now…

As someone who got this in the promotion, I was thrilled to see it in the shop. Now my EU characters can have it too. 
Arcanite Ripper is already being sold on the BMAH. 
your feldrake? wow nice how much did it cost to buy the ownership of that digital art asset? I cant imagine blizz parted with it cheaply! Especially given how its not been removed from the game. Either way that must have been one heck of a deal to broker. The lawyer fees must have set you back a pretty penny.
