Promise it won't have sharding either.
They do need a statement on that, and that its even in the demo suggests they are totally out of touch with what Classic players want anyways...i am not confident in this re release myself anymore.
Confirmed fixed on Blizzcon build

Is there proof?

Why? Why is everyone so upset about sharding? Launch days were garbage back before sharding.
Because sharding is garbage, inherently. The fact you can't understand why sharding is a bad thing for classic in any form shows you don't even understand classic in the first place.
Its like, telling me you like chess but not understanding why removing the knight would be a bad thing.
Idiots...
First, I never said I like the idea of classic. I've been active since before launch, and I remember classic well enough to know that I don't have any desire to go back to that tedious grind-fest full time. If I was going to go back to it full time, however, I wouldn't want to spend the first 3 hours in the Valley of Trials trying to compete with everyone else for scorpid spawns so I can finish the first few quests.
But based on your lack of an actual answer and the fact that you're calling strangers "idiots" for not agreeing with you, I'm assuming you don't really know why you hate it so much either. The more likely answer is that this is all just misdirected internet rage, so I'll just move along and let you enjoy your fantasy of travelling back to 2004 to play a very outdated game.

Yea, but the whole game is garbage now that sharding exists. The other players on my server shouldn't randomly disappear right in front of my eyes. Sharding is hot !@#, and simply doesn't belong in any MMO. You act like people in WoD and Legion didn't point this out already.
I don't normally visit these forums, so I must have missed people complaining about sharding. I spend most of my time playing solo, so it suits my play style, and I've never found a problem with it other than mining and herb nodes disappearing, which isn't something I consider super detrimental to my enjoyment of the game. That's why I asked in the first place. I can tell you kids are very passionate about it though, so carry on.

Good to hear Lore. LFR, LFD, sharding, dungeon finder are all big negatives for the experience.
That being said, myself and others would love to see transmog with a personal loot ruleset so we don't see lvl 10 mages in T2, as well as additional content added down the road, possibly on a + type server.
It should be noted that in order for the vanilla game data to work on modern OSes and graphics systems, in addition to the requisite security features being enabled, that it would have the modern code in use.
Since this is a "rough draft" style demo, for lack of better terminology, it basically uses modern code that has yet to be finalized. It will take many, many pruning passes to weed out unnecessary and/or unwanted UI code. WoW's incredibly complex and essencially backporting a modern Lua and game engine codebase into game data that couldn't foresee current technology is going to have its share of road bumps and bare spots.
The demo we got for BlizzCon was meant to be nothing more than "this is what we have now, try it out!" It isn't the finished product by any stretch of the imagination. It's an early beginning. It'll see its proper due as time goes by. It may even, if we're lucky, get the multithreading support for an unbelievably butter smooth level of gameplay that we wish we could have had when vanilla was live. Hopefully it will indeed be the best of both worlds for vanilla fans.

That's nice. What exactly is the demo demonstrating that will actually be in the finished product?

You don't care that you just spent 20 minutes working your way up a hill through mobs to mine a node and when you kill the last mob and finally get to it it disappears? Yeah...I believe that...

Will the ability to chat with other people through battlenet be in the finished product? I saw a friend come on line while playing and chatted with them.
Well done on getting played and scammed by Blizz, guys. They put together the !@#$tiest example of a demo they could and charged you morons 50 bucks to play it for half an hour. You only have yourselves to blame.
Anyone who thought this demo was going to be anything other than a re-skinned BfA with tougher mobs frankly deserves to be as upset as they are, the game's not going to be released for at least another year and you idiots thought a 4 lvl demo would be anything other than BS? They sold a whole ton of Virtual Tickets and that was the purpose.

Remove sharding completely please. Otherwise you will have a complete flop on your hands.

Blizz has been disconnected ever since the end of wraith. The devs do not play the game like we do...they test the game and look at spreadsheets. Look at the Diablo mobile game....do you think they talked to players? No. Some marketing person chimed in during a meeting that iphone games are cool and the devs jump aboard.
I guess everyone who's arguing against sharding doesn't actually want to play the game when it releases.
Bunch of whiny !@# $%^-*.
It's a DEMO! As in, NOT COMPLETE! NOTE EVEN REMOTELY COMPLETE!
GET OVER YOURSELVES AND LEARN SOME !@#$ING PATIENCE!

Neither is BFA (and probably never will be) and they don't mind releasing that
