Tww worse than df

Equipment drops are pretty garbage as well, for people just starting out. I went from level 70 to 73 with not a single upgrade on my warrior. And delves, heh. First, they were supposed to all be dark. I was so excited they were doing underground zones and making everything dark but it turns out to be a lot less dramatic than they made it out to be at blizzcon last year. It’s just more of the same. Torches are just for show like everything else. Characters don’t need any type of magic resistances, classes are all self sustaining so no need for other players like a cleric, or a mage for ports, everyone can fly over everything from the very start of the expansion. It is not immersive at all. It’s just more of the same old grind to 80 and get better gear. It’s the reason I quit these games. They need to bring back more EQ or Baldur’s gate style or D&D or Final Fantasy III. I don’t like coming into a game and feel like I am working at another job. I want entertainment.
I honestly wish they would separate PVP from PVE games. PVP will always complain about class balancing but it needs to be the complete opposite for PVE or the community is lacking the need for others. I love the delves and follower dungeons, however they need better stories behind each one. Like the Witcher, where there’s a monster wreaking havoc on the locals in the nearby town and we need some hero to go take it down. Or maybe a story of a pirate’s treasure was said to be buried in it. When they are all the same, e.g. kill a bunch of mobs and get treasure at the end, boooring.
And then there is AI. Where is it? How about evolving stories or moving monster camps that react to your characters in different ways.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Warcraft but I have been playing it since 2006 on and off and nothing has really changed. I used to enjoy that you had to earn your levels. Now everyone can just buy them a level 70 and grind out ten levels and they’re done with PVE. I get the reason they do this is to keep new players coming but alas, it’s too easy. All the old content is just dead. The professions and all previous quests are wasted time that has no meaning in the new expansion. When they started foing this I quit for several years. At least with The War Within, maybe it won’t be so jacked up, since it’s three expansions, but what about after that? Wash, rinse and repeat again? 3 years of profession leveling in the toilet? With the way the game is now, they could easily just release each new expansion as its own game of ten levels.
I really like EQ1 with dark elves that could see in the dark. Several classes had abilities that made them useful to other players and you had to spend a lot of time to earn those abilities. Games today have really gotten away from what made an MMO fun.

yeah that’s a good example, that’s what I was trying to say, they made the average player’s experience worse, totally out of blue, I have yet to find a reason why they nerfed dragon races world quest, there are less of them in khaz’algar than in df, and yet they nerfed the gold from it

World quests are giving so much gold. I had 6 up today for just under 900 gold each on my monk.

Gold gains throughout DF were easily the highest of any, aside from like legion (because mission tables were also a great gain).
You could do pretty much any content and make a solid amount of gold. Whether it was just running lfr, dungeon spamming, prof farming, world gathering in general.

You had A TON of avenues to gain gold and a lot of it effortlessly.

Because week one launch went insanely smooth. Content is already pretty solid. Campaign skips. Alt xp boosts. Solid wq.
Boa rep. No rep gold sinks. Etc.

There are plenty of reasons to praise it. Getting upset over lack of gold gains from world content just feels empty since its so early and there are other means to make fast/ easy gold.

I see we found our buzzword.
I didn’t say the convo was over. We are having a debate. The only bad faith happening right now is you as you keep calling my stance bad faith because you disagree lol.

Yea. Farming gold is not good gameplay.

Umm, tww is a lot better.

world of warcraft: the wallet without.

…i’ve been up all night, so… not my best tww joke.

Sorry you feel that way OP. I don’t base the game’s fun off how much gold I can make so I can’t relate. Toodles!

You can state you don’t care without the faux apology. At least own it anyway.

It wasn’t faux. I can’t relate and I’m sorry they aren’t having fun. What else do you want?

A faux apology is literally a statement either A. Blaming the individual, or disregarding it entirely.

“Sorry YOU feel that way.” is a Faux apology. You’re not sorry, you’re blaming the victim for how they feel. Its a common tactic among NPD and other Cluster B Personality Disorders.

It is abusive. It is Gaslighting.

That was a huge stretch for such a brief comment I made. You need a break from these forums lol.

Now you’re deflecting any accountability and blaming me for calling you out on something you are doing by text book definition?

the combination of fast gliders
and ever diminishing map dimensions
does make the game feel smaller.

There is no way you aren’t trolling :sob: goodbye

Now you’re accusing me of trolling when I’m genuinely pointing out your toxic behavior?

Not surprising.

Definitely trolling, I’d know because I play a Troll.

Lol I have many trolls too, just not Z Trolls.

“trolling”?
why is it that any time anyone
takes issue with any aspect of
the game, people immediately
accuse them of “trolling”…it
necessarily implies that you are
of the opinion that the game can
never be improved.,that’s counterproductive.
