TWW Season 2 Seems DOA

So why are you comparing those than? 2-11s should be in your table as well. There is no reason to remove it and they were still keys ran.

There’s 3 tables. Only one of them has it removed which was explained why. Regardless of the table, the season is healthy.

Yeah, I don’t know. My IO shows a main above 2500 and this toon (while admittedly this alt is boosted AF) was at 2470 and he was saying I’m too much of a risk to run 8’s with. lol

Which is the biggest reason I don’t like the changes this season. I don’t find 8-10’s super challenging, but the margin for failure is more narrow than it has been so you get stuff like ‘this guy’s IO is only 70 higher than the key level he’s applying to, better sit here for 5 minutes to find a 2800 Frost Mage instead.’ In my opinion, I would rather lax the failure chances a bit to make everyone less paranoid about inviting people to trivial content and let the prestige be found by pushing another key level or two higher for people who want to stand out in the crowd.

But there will be a small army of people I have on ignore flocking to argue that statement before I wake up in the morning, for… whatever reason.

Just for contrast, when I’m joining groups for the vault I search 10-10 and choose a dungeon that I’m in the mood for that has a healer and 3 dps. I don’t look at their io or their comp. I’m usually invited before I’ve had a chance to select a second choice dungeon with a healer and 3 dps, and then we go finish the key. I don’t see a need to change this system because it’s been working for me.

The system is working for a Prot Paladin who is applying for keys significantly below their IO?

I just walked away to play different games to be honest. I don’t really care about wow right now and I don’t like feeling that way about this game. Got fatigued with all the fomo rat race efficiency brainrot. Tired of them being suuuuuper concerned about the game being punishing enough and keeping you playing long enough for retention metrics.

This is the system I’ve used every season since SL. I’m not saying it works for everyone, just trying to illustrate that not everyone is quibbling about rating when joining groups.

No, you’re right. It’s hit or miss, some days I log on and get invited to keys in 5 seconds, sometimes I sit in Dornogal for an hour and log off.

But I have seen a personal trend this season where even being qualified/over qualified feels a little more of a challenge than it has felt like in the past, pending your role/what you’re playing. Which 8’s aren’t even mythic track any longer so no idea why the bottleneck exists.

And this is why I just won’t ever touch M+. I really do miss the days of challenging Heroic dungeons in Cata that had no extra bs attached.

After a few hours, I am interested in your first impressions. I was looking at that game but never pulled the trigger.

If you’ve played any of the modern Assassin’s Creed games, it feels about like those except you don’t upgrade a vehicle (that I’ve seen so far) with a feudal age Japan shell over it.

I really like it, but it didn’t hit as hard for me as Red Dead 2 or Baldur’s Gate 3. But easily a solid game purchase, IMO.

Thanks. I may add it to the list.
