Find a group to play with. A friendly guild or just a couple of friends you like to hang out with. It makes everything more fun. Get in discord with them. The worst time I had in WoW was during WoD after I had decided to play solo and quickly found myself bored in my garrison reading the cancer that is tradechat. It was the first time I had unsubscribed since vanilla. There’s a lot of group content that is really fun if you’re playing with friends.

This xpac is atrocious. It is littered with bull put in by people who only know gacha games or literally have no experience, and feel whatever THEY think is cool needs to be in, whatever the player may think.
This xpac is utter garbage, from the glitchy clips that kick you, to wanting you to jump with no support, to where they don’t explain a single thing but expect you to figure it out, to the janky mechanics, the terrible flight, the lack of story (but it’s very disjointed), to them trying to cheapen the experience by spreading an xpac over multiple ones, to the bosses and mobs having aoe abilities that break all abilities and skills and those that break threat level of tanks.
From top to bottom, this is worse than a single launch of a mobile gacha game. They literally do not care about the product or their players.
Shadowlands was more pollished than this expansion. You literally have issues on every single aspect from the game. From infrastructure to thousands and thousands of bugs and balance issues. From problems from endgame contente like delves, dungeons to more simple things like crafts.

Maybe MMO is not for you anymore, gameplay is fine, story is not.
They will only change their political stance about story when the engineers can no longer carry the game with decent gameplay.
Already looking forward to Season 2 and farming whatever dirt/doo doo pile they can come up with. So original and new.
Take a break brother. Go outside, Smell the air. Work on IRL stuff for a little bit and come back. Thats what I do. I take 3 month breaks from now and then. And when I do I feel so much fresher when coming back.
So much grinding every day with horrible rewards. as an example: I tried Jewelcrafting. The amount of ore needed is painful.
