The expansion is actually pretty good. There’s always issues. The Dawnbreaker is one of the best dungeons of the expansion. No reason to keep copy pasting the same tired dungeons over and over. Classic exists for that.
TBH this thread reads like you’re not actually disappointed with WoW so much as you expected it to reignite your spark in a game you’ve long since burned out on.

personally Im loving TWW…and for whatever reason I really enjoy the Dawnbreaker run.
Loving all the dungeons, which I like much better than DF’s dungeons.
Delves are a lot of fun. A bit too Nintendo64 for my liking, but fun nonetheless.
Could do without the bugs and scaling problems but overly happy with the expansion overall.

I get there frequently enough from playing too much and need a break.
Was actually on a break when TWW went live and didnt think Id be able to enjoy it because of the burnout.
Still burned out, but loving TWW anyway.

yeah, i see that too. 
It’s about $8.00 a pound here, filet is over $20.00. I had to correct that. $4 was what I paid a couple years ago. It’s $8 now. I didn’t even look at the filet or tenderloin. Too expensive.
I think TWW is great.
However the bugs and the maintenance levels is definitely high on the list of problematic expansions.
There have been a lot more bugs prevalent this expansion than in recent memory, but outside of that, this is the most fun I’ve had in an expansion since Legion and it’s not EVEN close.
LOVE TWW, great zones, music, story, atmosphere, LOTS of solo content to sink my teeth into.
Most fun I’ve had in YEARS, EASILY.
Had a quest giver just disappear from my game, could not turn in quest . I abandoned it when to start, still missing… can not progress campaign, Thankfully it’s an Alt, In the old days, the GM would check you progress and do a quest advanc. This would solve the issue… but instead we get boilerplate " We are useless we do nothing, use Wowhead"
If my customer support team acted like this? Idd fire the whole freaking department.

Taking a much needed break will do wonders for how you enjoy the game when you return. It’ll still be here, and fear nothing about missing out because everything winds up on the TP eventually.
A worry free vacation is always a nice thing.

The War Within is the best WoW expansion ever made.
I think that for those who don’t like War Within, maybe classic is more your thing and that’s valid. Its a different game, but War Within is peak WoW.

Feeling that you’re “invested” in a game is already an issue. A break would be reasonable. It’s okay to find a thing no longer fun especially after 2 decades of it.
As for not having things to do… Not sure what to tell you man. Renown track gear isn’t bad. Lots of cosmetics and pets and mounts to pursue. If that’s not your cup of tea then again, it’s cool to take a break!
