This is blizzards mess up, granted it was a mess up they didn’t see coming so I will give them that. Every. Single. Server. That was available on launch and shortly after is full during peak hours.
Just telling people to reroll is an extremely lazy option by a company. If they just allowed server xfers it would be the best for everyone. They even SAID that they were thinking about using it during launch week as a tool to fight against this, so asking for an xfer is not out of left field at all.
I’m guessing they want to wait until they think they have all the servers up they need and then they will open up transfer as to avoid having people transferring multiple times.
We went from Herod, to Stalagg, to our server now. So I did what Blizzard asked. I did it twice, I’ve rerolled three times. And you still say it’s our fault?
Why would you go from Herod (highest queue) to stalagg(second highest queue)? Did you do that before launch or after? If after it doesn’t make much sense unless you’re under the impression that only the biggest servers will be in the best position population wise in the end.
Im not saying the blame is on you, im saying as of right now the only way to fix the problem is to be creative with getting into the server early to avoid the queue or switching servers, because there is no guarantee that bliz will offer character transfers anytime soon.
Glad you added new…AGAIN, two at a time …in a reactionary way. Ask people to reroll (4 times, already for me) for the exact same thing to happen…long ques on ALL servers. Forget about progress made, friend and/friends on those that were NEW servers, that become FULL in a day or two…

Oh I can get into the servers fine because my office is in my home. My friends can’t though. And yeah it’ll probably be a while before they do, but as we have seen, bringing up suggestions in the forums does work (Blizz removed group finder addons because people said they didn’t want it), so yeah I’m gonna voice my thoughts on fixing queues.
Lots of new servers, people aren’t leaving. It’s not because they enjoy the queue’s, they don’t want to leave their toons and friends. I think transfers would be the ideal way to go. Like a brand new realm that three servers can xfer to before it’s opened to the public.
This isn’t directed to who I quoted, but if you have a problem with suggestions I’d say get over yourself. You’re a troll. I’d rather be the one suggesting actual changes than the guy/girl who’s in forums looking for fights.
People shouting to transfer their lvl 10-20 characters is so bizarre. Just reroll. You haven’t done any serious work lol. The real crime in all this chaos is the dead layers on full servers–kills the classic experience.
This isn’t quite the case anymore. Benediction was opened two days ago and I just saw it labeled as High for the first time yesterday at prime time hours. these two new realms will help and I honestly believe the severs are evening out (outside of the outliers that are Herod, Faerlina, and Whitemane.
Is there a petition that we all can sign to convince Blizzard to either give us a single free character transfer or increase the server player cap so the queues arent as long?
As most of you have said, adding new servers aren’t really solving anything. It’s more like an insult to injury. If you know where we can make a petition or survey to get Blizzard’s attention, share it.
Do you guys hear yourselves? A free transfer for lvl15 characters Blizzard should just ride this out. If people get to like endgame and need the transfer, then maybe, sure. But every lowbie wants a transfer–crazy man.
Those arbitrary numbers as you call them are for you own benefit later when massive amounts of people stop play for the sake of trying out Classic. Blizzard is not responsible for making conditions so you can feel special, like every other person who wants to do the same, but some chose to be reasonable and go level, instead of getting on the forums and complaining about playing with friends and guildmates. If they raise the cap, people like yourself will be complaining when they force you to a lower pop realm to get under the caps they initial set. So you either pay now or pay later and be forced to have to move. Course people like yourself would rather complain. Adding realms so people can play and level is helping. At least people can level and wait until the masses leave and hope enough leave to transfer back to their friends and guild. Though I would not bank on that. I am sure more people on these overpopulated realms are going to force Blizzard later to boot them off later.
