Only problem with that is restarting on a new server that also instantly went to Full so it had the same problem as the one I just left. So what to do now? Reroll again? I already moved once because they made a big fuss and I’m still in the same boat.
The issue with this is, they move to a new server, leave their friends, then face more massive queues on the new server, and they are told to move again. Some people have moved several times and are still in queues.
Please allow free transfers! This is not helping because no one really wants to reroll!
But the new server queue is insignificant compared to what you had in Herod and Fairelna right? At this point 30 min queue should be normal. 90% of the people leave MMORPG after 30 days so keep that in perspective.
This is NOT the solution. This isn’t fresh Vanilla. Players already have friends, already have guilds. Guilds are being split because half of them are leveling, the other half stuck outside. Nobody wants to re-roll after putting several /days played.
Here’s what you do. Open a brand new server for each of the servers experiencing a high queue. Allow transfers from each of the high queue servers to their respective new server. There is enough people sitting in queue on these to populate an entire server. No new character creations for 24 hours, only transfers, so people keep their names. After 24 hours, allow new characters to be created.
Creating new layers will add problems down the road.
Opening new servers for re-roll is not the solution.
how is rerolling not the solution when it’s most definitely the solution?
What do you have to loose by letting people transfer? I don’t understand some of you who are so anti transfer? Raiding has not started. It will not break any balance. The more we wait the worse it will get.
what’s the big deal with rerolling when you’re in your 20s? it literally takes a few days of played time. not /played time. how are you expecting to last the rest of classic when you can’t even deal with leveling? i’m not trying to troll. i genuinely wish i could understand.
I agree, however, I’m seeing screenshots on Twitter of all realms being full. As soon as they opened new servers on Day 1, they instantly became full. So, it’s not only the people on the initially full servers who are experiencing this. For example, Bigglesworth.
that’s one of the best server names so it doesn’t surprise me it’s full.
Some people can only play 10 hours a month. The level is irrelevant. Not everyone has the luxury to just reroll. Transfer in early stage hurts nobody. There is no real cases against it.
i’d be open to it as i said assuming it was only to realms that existed specifically to house transfers. not to realms that exist right this second. you’re just spreading the issue around not making things better if you do it the other way.
Please allow character transfers. Ive put roughly 20hrs into my character. I do not want to do that again on a new realm. Ill even pay for the transfer! JUST ALLOW IT.
20 hours? you do realize how many hundreds of DAYS you’ll have by the time it gets down to it right?
You’re absolutely not wrong. Doesnt change the fact that I want to keep my character.
Only way they’re going to break things up is allow free transfers off full servers, no one is going to give up their 10 hrs to 2 days /played. And transfer only servers for awhile, no one is going to give up their names either
This ^, so much of this
100% agree. I know I’m just waiting it out. Saying to myself that it will fix itself. Maybe everyone is thinking that. They won’t leave without transfers.
I haven’t actually waited in a queue longer then 30 min, so it really doesn’t bother me lol, but I know how people are.
I got home tonight at 8PM. I know that it is literally not possible for me to get into game until minimum 1am. I can’t play today.
