It’s kind of ironic when you stop to think about it. Two Forms can’t be a toggle cause its not “lore” according to the devs but the lore of Worgen being 8 feet tall is tossed right out the door… Make up your mind Blizzard. We Worgen mains are still waiting for our turn for some love. After 10 years of abuse and neglect its time to at least put some effort into the race. And yes the HD model update was a good start but we are still waiting for anything else that will help our player base.
It already is a toggle.
Don’t use your racial self mount (running Wild ) and don’t go in to combat if you don’t want to turn into a Worgen which the playable race is called . THey are not called Gineans in the character select screen.
It was a joke. It’d be like Wolverine not using his claws in combat. The concept is goofy.
This topic has proven to me that people will be contrarian just to be contrarian.
My mind goes to actual strategy. Go in as a human and catch them off guard when you reveal your a big, gnarly wolf.
Ofc, ppl in WoW will know you’re a worgen but I’m thinking of a real fantasy battle xD
Blizz needs to bring back more fantasy to the game.
Appear weak when you are at your strongest.

Something like that.
If you want a toggle for Worgen form then just play Human, if you want to be a druid play KT.
Worgen is a worgen, either play the race or swap.
What the crap is this racial, then? It doesn’t make any sense, according to your information!
I want a racial that turns me into a dragon if they get something that turns them into something completely unrelated for no reason at all!
What if a worgen bites a dragon? Let’s add in hybrid races instead of more allied races. I want to multi-race if we can’t multi-class.
Also would it be a worgon, or a dragen?
Or tiny little Gnogen. Lil ferocious puppers.
The best you can do currently is a macro that resets from combat that only casts two forms. This of course fails on your first use after login if you are in human form since you haven’t entered combat yet. It still requires a button press, but maybe a mod could be made to do this automatically. I used to use this in a mounting macro.
I only know how to do pretty basic macros. I look at some of them and have no clue whats going on when script is added lol.
Just seems there would be a way to say form on, form off like with druid forms
Easy, play the boring human you desire to be.
Druid forms throw another wrench into the process entirely, as you default to Worgen form when shifting out.
lol…really?
yeah. just seems the ability itself would be self contained or something…On…Off.
I guess I never payed much attention to it. Ive only swapped to human form …I dont know…6 times in all the time Ive played the game maybe?
I use the running ‘mount’ thing a lot early on just because its cool…though I think its absurdity at its finest that it takes time to ‘mount’ for a worgen to literally leap into running action. Its like no one in this company at that point it was created had any idea what a werewolf was actually like in fiction lmao.
I’m just a layman and would struggle to make even a moderately complicated macro myself, but the reason it wouldn’t work like it does for druids is because its not a shapeshift like a druid’s. Druid forms, warrior stances, and stealth are actually the same as far as commands and game logic go. The same goes for anything else that uses the stance bar. Two forms is a separate action that is either totally unique or more akin to a self polymorph.
I want to be a Worgen. I love transforming into a snarling werewolf when I enter the battlefield. I dislike being in that primal form, however, when I’m browsing the auction house. And if I am in Worgen form when wandering around Stormwind, it really diminishes the impact of the transformation “releasing the beast” in combat by contrast, or rather a lack thereof.
There was an addon for this but they broke it at the same time they broke addons that pressed buttons for you.
I think Worgen should be allowed to maintain human form in combat which if they are in human form in combat if they drop to 50% HP or less they transform.
