A few builds later, still no sign of a little Worgen love.
Not a great take. To me part of the fantasy of playing a Werewolf is morbing out, I mean worging out (hence “Worgen” - one who worgs). Not being a furry race like Tauren or Vulpers but being a human ego can give into their hatred and rage and transform.
Dude, look at Greymane. He walks around as a human unless he’s in battle or about to fight. Don’t tell me there ain’t WoW lore to want this play style. And no, I don’t want to hit two forms between every pull.
Love how they got the tech to give dracthyr a toggle, but somehow not for worgen to get a toggle.
And don’t give me the “but it’s a unique thing for dracthyr” arguement. Because one, worgen used to have a addon that auto transformed us, and 2, part of the warewolf fantasy is constantly changing our form from human/warewolf. Transforming is not apatt of the “dragon” fantasy, so why should they get better treatment on thst regard.
wait, it’s not a toggle? I thought it was?
Two forms is not an toggle, it is a racial we need to press to actively change forms, dracthyr gets a auto toggle button for their visage form.
oh, I mean Dracthyr, do they have a toggle?
I just said they do… they get a auto transform toggle…
I think it is called chosen form
ooh, I’m slow, I misunderstood
Why? If I don’t like the look of my character, I change the mog. Same thing.
Just implement for Worgen and we are good to go.
“But why male models” - lol.
I literally just said why. The fantasy of a werewolf isn’t just being a furry for some people. The human form is part of being a werewolf. Blizzard knows this and fixed it for Dracthyr - Worgen are just lagging behind.
Yeah… i should have Undead… and dead!
I mean yeah it would make it more user friendly but is it really needed? It’s just one button rofl
Continously pressing it everytime you exit combat gets annoying…
I know… i tried lol.
Much moreso as a Druid. Whenever you shapeshift, the default form when you transform back to “normal” is Worgen regardless of your combat state. I’ve tried macros. They’re finnicky, unreliable, and very often just get in the way of the functionality you’re trying to tie in.
Worgen are no longer human. We are changed so that when we die we remain Worgen. Now I do understand people who want Two Forms to be a toggle as it gives them more options and just like the optional tail Worgen players are asking for it just is for the fantasy of the character we play. Sure Im in the we should be a lore correct 8 foot size team but thats just for its lore. Anyway so why do I perfer Worgen form over human? Personally all Worgen are in human form is Stormwind humans, we have nothing and I do mean nothing unique that sets us apart from Stormwind Humans. Here is a huge missed opportunity and some of it is simple changes. Did you know humans have two dances they can do? Instead of the default human dance why can’t blizzard set it up so Worgen do the Waltz dance that humans can do? It fits the theme of the more civilized Gilneas human but we are stuck with a extremely lazy, no effort what so ever put into our human form and just given everything Stormwind humans have. Thats why I personally never go human form and have embraced the beast within. But like I said it should be an option for those who want it as more options are always better and a bigger draw to play the race.
Except for the threat that, at any given moment, the beast within could assert itself. That is the fantasy that appeals to me. The core werewolf fantasy upon which worgen are based.
y not just play a human
Not like that question hasn’t been answered sixteen thousand times. Including in the post directly above yours. For goodness’ sake y’all.
okay? i don’t understand it’s the same result just play human lmao
Why do you show up in threads to act this way? Contrarian and dismissive about things that don’t even concern you?
I know you’re very obviously young but like, trust me, you aren’t the all-knowing solution-bringer youth makes you think you are. Sometimes it’s a good idea to just keep your thoughts to yourself when they don’t apply to anyone else.
