Two days = No response on trouble ticket?

I submitted an online trouble ticket 2 days ago and so far NO response. What gives that your support folks ignore trouble tickets?

I would appreciate it if someone would notify the trouble ticket support folks that I submitted Ticket Number: US75165751 two days ago and still have not received an answer.

When you submit a ticket, it’s put in a queue of other tickets. The current answer time on tickets seems to be about 1-2 days - they’ll answer your ticket as soon as they get to it.

That being said, there are no Game Masters who’d be able to answer your tickets on the forums.

What was the ticket about? Perhaps we could help?

Queue times are around 2 days at the moment and your ticket has been in queue for 1 day 22 hours and 50 minutes. You’ll likely hear something fairly soon.

The advice may start with a UI reset, so I’d make sure you have done that first.

Edit:
With that said, I don’t show that you completed that achievement on your Hunter. It seems to have been completed on your Warlock back in 2010.

Why is it I can see it completed on my achievement panel while logged into my hunter? But the other question related to this is, I used to have a “find fish” icon on my mini map on my hunter, but now its gone and I cannot understand why it would disappear like that.

That I am not sure of, Agnass, but looking at your characters I only show your Warlock as completing that achievement.

In-game, when you hover over the achievement, does it list your Hunter as the character that completed that achievement?

If you uncheck the “Account Earned” tickbox on in the upper left-hand corner of your Achievements window, it will change the color on any that you earned on other characters than the one you’re logged in on at the moment.

The area where you hover to see which character got the achievement that Vrak is talking about is the one that shows how many points the achievement was worth.

Ok, I’ve been trying to find out why my “find fish” icon is now missing. Obviously, there is a lot of convoluted information even on Wowhead, but I found one page that says I have to get a journal from a wreckage node where there are crates floating.

The other day I spent hours and never came across one journal the entire time, even though I got a lot of crates and iron bound trunks/chests. None of them produced the journal that Wowhead page is talking about. Here is that page.

So my next question is: why don’t any of the journals show up in any of the crates or iron bound trunks/chests I fished up? Did Bliz remove that from the game and now requires each individual toon to finish the achievement in order to obtain that?

But that begs the question, why did my “find fish” icon disappear?

Have you tried the UI reset that Vrak mentioned earlier? It is indeed possible to have an issue with your UI on an individual character. It could be a problem with the game UI or possibly with an addon.

I did a reload ui, is that what you are referring to? Because nothing changed when I did that.

Agnass,

You need to rename your WTF and interface folders (e.g. to WTF_old), and delete the cache folder.

The procedure Amaelalin describes is documented in this Blizzard support article.

No, the find fish journal was not removed. I just got it from fishing up a chest in Western Plaguelands a couple weeks ago on a lowbie alt.

I suspect that if it is not a UI issue, you’re mistaken about your hunter having find fish in the tracking.

The achievement that Vrak is referring to is “Fish Don’t Leave Footprints”. It’s under Professions > Fishing, and it’s the one that you’ll want to see if you have that achievement on your hunter specifically.

If you don’t, the best way to get the journal item is by doing the Stormwind or Orgrimmar daily fishing quests. The reward bag for them tends to contain the journal at a pretty high rate in my experience, but RNG can be RNG sometimes.

Thanks, I totally forgot about this method. Appreciate the tip.
