Two Alliance races got dark ranger options, while one Horde did

I dunno what they have to be upset about, they got a skin they had no business getting.

So far I haven’t seen any single Nightborne dead in BFA’s Story. I guess that’s the reason why there’s no Dark Ranger Nightborne.

Meh blame Linxy, she was behind the sudden additions and pushing of blood elf customisations for void elves, apparently as a favour to some friends :person_shrugging:.

At this point I just try and enjoy what’s left of uniqueness for BE race and story.

Why would you dig this up after a year?

Also this is a great example of why topics should auto close after a certain amount of inactivity after the last response.

Customisations themselves are not the issue and are actually a wonderful addition to the game to give players more uniqueness for their characters.

But when it is a “new” customisation for one race, that is just taking attributes and concepts from another race, which then dilutes the entire appeal and concept of that original race…then yeah you have to stop and ask wtf is this?

Void elves are a great example of this. The model was one thing, but rather than expand on their own concept and themes, certain players and admin pushed to just give them blood elf concepts because….they wanted them?

Yeah…no

What I would prefer is, on necro’d threads, a zombie icon next to it whenever the thread was recently posted in after having been dormant for, say 6 months. That’s enough time that the information may be invalid due to a patch.

I actually don’t mind necromantic activities in general because while sometimes the thread is aged, it may be new material to some - especially when it is purely a discussion of non-gameplay mechanics.

But that’s all IMHO of course.
